What makes the Chipped Catra theme even better is that you can slightly hear the almost inaudible dialogue between Catra and Adora as they're fighting 😭💚

@@ohyoufoundskyleree it’s kinda based off something that happens in Artemis Fowl; Atlantis Complex, where (spoiler alert) Artemis developed a second personality called Orion, but when Orion was in control, Artemis could still see and hear everything that was going on, while being trapped inside his own mind.

What about promise? Technically it is a Catra theme as it represents the state of her relationship with Adora. There is also moment of truth. Catra made life altering choices during that sone, such as pulling the switch.

No, that is not Catra’s theme. That is Catradora’s theme, aka the Promise theme. There are four times it plays in full, and all four times are scenes where the relationship between Catra and Adora’s goes through a fundamental change. You can hear bits and pieces of this theme occasionally at other times, most often for Adora, but it would be wrong to state that it belongs to either of them. The composer does this with a few other things as well - create a theme not for a specific character, but for a specific character arc. For example, Glimmer’s season 4 character arc has a specific theme that only plays 3 times in total.
