One night last week I found all my cats sleeping innocently next to a knocked over cat tower and when I checked the security cam footage, I found out exactly what happened... It was a total chaos that formed in just a matter of seconds!

About Our Channel:
This channel is about the daily lives and adventures of my 3 indoor cats Santi, Indy & Chewie and our 14 outdoor cats and my dog Walter.
Our outdoor cats are living in our garden and their names are D'Artagnan, The Rolling Cat (Princess), The Purring Cat, D'Artagnan's Girlfriend, Porthos, Zoom, Junior, The Mom Cat, The Big Head, Ruzgar, Nope, Pamuk, Pamuk Jr. and Vasak.
If you are a new visitor to our channel, I suggest that you watch the two playlists called "All The Videos of Our Outdoor Cats (In Order)" and "All The Videos of My Indoor Cats (In Order)" first.
Apart from the videos of our cats, from time to time I also upload videos of other animals I come across.
So basically, what you'll find here are lots of funny and cute cat videos, an ongoing miniseries about a cat love drama, sometimes rescue stories and always a whole lot of meowing!

it's really fortunate that no one got hurt - since Turkiye is such an active seismic zone it's a cautionary tale for our friend and cat lovers in general to tie in or avoid things that can fall over creatures and humans 💓

No chance of that. The tower took ages to fall and made a noise before it fell. Since their reactions are of course 'cat-like' they all sensed it in time. And of course, as with all Walter Santi videos... No cats were harmed in the making of this video😁

@@kmokatz Their caregiver is very observant and proactive in their safety and care. If there are any problems, they will be handled responsibly and swiftly. Those cats are in the best place possible for them. 👍

I like how the caretaker made sure to secure the cat tree afterwards so the kitties are safe! I think the banjo music might be the official Walter Santi theme song now! The kitties obviously feel safe because they returned pretty quickly after the accident and went back to sleep.

It looks as if the tree started to shift when D'Artagnan's GF lost her footing in the center room and Porthos being at the top may have contributed with his weight. But to be fair, that cat tree doesn't seem to be as stable as it was before.

Any tower over 4 feet tall definitely needs to be secured. Around 4 feet you can probably get away with putting a weight in the base, but above that, you need to secure it to the wall.

Dogs at least have the grace to act guilty and ashamed when you happen upon their misdeeds; cats either act like the mischief occurred all by itself, or look as if you should congratulate them for doing it!
