Also a lot of drivers don’t realize that once you load it does not matter if it’s 1 mile or 1000 miles you don’t stop for a 10 hour break you have to roll, everyone is not cut out to do that that of driving every day
@MantimeHustle8 ай бұрын
Why is that? Animals need water and food I’m guessing???
@Solo-di5om8 ай бұрын
@@MantimeHustle it’s different reasons but it’s considered cruel and it’s a safety deal to leave them standing in the trailer while you take a 10 hour break I mean you can stop for a hour but I would not push any longer.
@user-yp8rp1ft8m7 ай бұрын
Most of the routes have at least 3 place to stop now for cattle hauling incase drivers need the 10 hr break but yes its not for everyone. Id like to get back into it but beeing im from VA Richmond to be exact its harder pple wont except me because most load rarely cone to VA they bypass😢

Some people just want to do it for the lights, and straight pipes. I had so many people ask me do people load for me. You have to love it, can't get in it for trucks, and lights. And speed

@@Stuntman4358 God bless you, and stay safe. Won't be able to drive anything period anymore myself, so I just watch you. Only difference is I been had gave my Stetson to a old cowboy that was working at a truck wash that had lost everything and his daughter had died. Seeing your vids put a smile on my face cause you almost sound more country than I do. Lol. On the CB and phone every thinks I'm white. Got to love it

I'm not so sure I could do that job. I know the smell must be the worst. And being a city slicker none of that appeals to me. It's basically cleaning a truck full of bullshyt and urine. Geesh!! Kudos to you my brother, I couldn't do that. I drove a bus for 26 years here in New York and I'm sure those bulls were a lot better passengers than the ones I used to haul 😅. Good job sir stay safe and keep on trucking. Just discovered your channel and I'll subscribe. All the way from the Big Apple, peace to my brothers in the south hauling our dinner. Travel Mercies. Ps: I'm feeling that Bitsu-Bitsu music bro!!!

I hauled a bit of livestock ( cows and hogs ) back in 1968 with what was called open rack trailers. They had gated sides that you could take off and put in the nose of the trailer. They had hoops all down the length of the trl. with a ridge pole down the centre of the hoops so you could open and close a tarp. Because they were used for freight once washed out. The hoops went to the nose also. This was in Manitoba Canada. Livestock from Brandon to Winnipeg. I remember there being some straw on the floor that got mixed with the cow and pig turds and left a mess to clean out. The odd time you might have to shovel, but they had such a high-pressure hose at the Burns Meats wash rack in Winnipeg, that usually did the trick. These were just a flat floor trl. so easy to clean. Wondering how often you need to shovel out any mess. And if so, I'd like to see that. I'm still driving at 76 years old, but haven't hauled any livestock since then. The last 15 years it's been deck work, mostly super B's. Just received a 15 year award on Friday night at our company party. Drove my first truck 59 years ago a year underage. 1964. Back then if they thought you could drive, they gave you the keys and said go. ha ha. They have whats called a class 1 with air now, but in my day, if you took your license test in a standard car and paid $2 extra at 18 you were given a chauffer's license to drive trucks. Sure is different today. Our class 1 would be the same as your CDL. Jeez, I sure got carried away about washing out a trl. LOL Anyway thanks and be safe with all your varied loads.
