Apart from seeing cows running out on to fields/pasture/meadow there is nothing more pleasing and giving you the feel good factor as them running on their new straw bedding love the high kicks x

This was a great video, Tom. So much work to do, so little time, but it's got to be rewarding to see the young stock jumping around in the new bedding. What child didn't love a new mattress to jump on? lol It was all fun and games until our parents caught us or someone fell off and ended up with goose egg on their head.

I am fascinated by the Manitou. Talk about versatile! My dad would have loved one of those when we had our cow calf operation. It’s probably my favorite piece of equipment you have.

Hi Tom. Small tip, When greasing loadall push bucket into ground slightly so grease comes round to the pressure points on rod & cylinder ends, Back axle raise on PUH using a block of wood to get a bit of height , & oscillate to allow grease to get around to the top, (pressure point), Good job, 👍

Had a good laugh watching the little guys run through the straw, escape down at the end through the bars, run back up to the straw and do it all over again 😂😂😂👍👍👍 Thanks for the fun video! You guys work so hard you must burn a lot of calories! Probably keeps you heart healthy! So that’s cool 😎👍🥳

Grease is a consumable. Pump it in untill fresh grease pops out . Dust seals prevent ingress . Steam clean regularly

Hang a pole on string/rope /chain from the rail above the gap where the calf got through , should help to prevent them from escaping. All that muck should save you some £££ on fertilizer in the spring. Didn't they love their new bed, happy girls.

Great video Tom lovely to see how happy the cows are with lovely fresh and clean pens and Tom you the ginge and everyone on the farm have the best farm your vision and everything that goes into planning and making the cows 🐮 happy and having the best life is all you can ask for keep up the great work and love the videos every Tuesday Friday and sometimes Sunday 😄😄

I love it when they bound around . Seeing that box muck being taken out, I see it was steaming which must help keep them warm at night too

Heat is actually a problem for cattle. They sweat and catch pneumonia. Fresh air and ventilation along with keeping them dry is key healthy animals.
