very skillful wrestler Barnes...alot of his matches, if were based on points, he would have won a lot more..i`m no expert....love watching B.Barnes...

Catweazle was a better comedian than Barnes. His real name was Gary Cooper and he sadly died of cancer in 1993. Cooper was the last man to wrestle Mick McManus on TV! I seem to recall he was also in a few tag matches too. Another referee I remember - Emile Poilve - he was very good. So 'Bad Bobby Barnes' became 'Beautiful Bobby Barnes'???

yes,Catweazle was certainly funny & a good wrestler. Bobby Barnes wasn`t a comedian,hardly ever smiled...both good in their own right.

Barnes seems to resemble a more no-nonsense catch style just like Jackie Pallo /McManus here , even though there's still the prancing stances ..
