Seems to me that anyone who finds a tin can full of coins in a well would try a few more throws, just saying. The can seemed well prserved, couldn't help myself there, and was perfectly centered on the magnet, seemed staged bro!

We had a shallow well growing up in rural GA. My brother used to go down every summer and clean it out by hand....of course, us kids never threw anything in it!

This is a common practice world wide of people in old days doing that as well using many as a wishing well. The problem is that the magnets will not pick up the gold etc unless in a storage unit like that. Somebody should design a long pole that has jaws at bottom that you can operate from top with magnetic scope to it but also collapsible jaws to help scoop up random coins that may not be in a container
