Your story and your power and vulnerability in your videos are an inspiration to me. I've been thinking about my time in the water and i realize that I too want to dive and travel in my van with my dog. I hope to dive with you someday Sarah or at least cross paths. I soak in the Salish Sea nearly every day. If you are on the Olympic Pennisula look me up. I know there is great diving to be had.

I love those conversations. "Hay, can I dive here?" "I...don't, don't know, maybe." So many people in positions of power could just say "no", and its magical when they error on the side of interest, helpfulness, and excitement.

yup, we saw your nose harrs earlier in the video! LOL! I'm visiting Bozeman, MT right now, Billings on Monday... That was a cool underwater world! How deep did you dive? I think I have only been like 30-40 ft in Greers Ferry Lake (heber springs, ar). Hopefully your mice issue is resolved! Cheers!

cool stuff... i've always been a fan of lake diving. had some killer opportunities to dive Crater Lake in Oregon so i get the whole situation of diving NPS... however fortunately I actually got to dive with the NPS biologists that are stationed on the lake so that was really amazing!

@@AzulUnlimited yes, it was super cool! totally amazing experience! i know at one point it was the clearest lake in the world. we had like 150+ ft. vis, nuts. also the deepest in NA, and like the 7th deepest in the world at 2000' :) it's doable, but you'd probably need at least 1 non-diver to help you with equipment to get down to the lake then back up again. no carts or anything allowed on the trail and it's just over a mile hike with about 1000' elevation difference between rim and lake surface. if you ever get the chance tho i highly recommend it! of course i had the good luck of the NPS biologists using their quad to haul everything down and up for us, PLUS we got out on their research vessel and got to dive some spots that virtually no one but them get to dive. super great memory :)

Did Goop fix the leaks? I had a similar situation in glacier national park. Many years ago we were diving underwater forest we didn’t realize we pulled into a daytime only used area and we were night diving there. The Ranger was not impressed with the Scuba Diver‘s. Needless to say, there is some awesome diving in glacier national park lake McDonald

Ooo cool! I’ll add that to my list. The goop is a good temporary solution but I’m going to take it off, sand down the rusty parts, repaint and do a long term treatment

Always remember... part of the outdoor adventurer's creed... "that It's always easier to ask for forgiveness than permission"... es verdad?🤔 We have all been there... having one of God's little creatures nibble our belongings into tiny little shreds... 🤣 Boy it sure is true... dawn some gear and appear to know where you our going... and like magic 🪄transformed into knowledgeable trail guide! 🤣 Great dive sequence... takes me back to my open water certification days in the northeast (Pennsylvania)... the days before I became BAJA spoiled! Viva Mexico! I will even add a workout comment.... plyometrics and balancing... very key... so few people train that way... 💪 ALL IN ALL... A VERY VERY ENJOABLE VLOG!... at least in my world!👍 Buena suerte y vaya con Dios.... 🌵☀😎

@AzulUnlimited
@AzulUnlimited 9 ай бұрын
Depends on what you want to do and your body size. I’ve found the Hollis sidemount systems to be a little big for smaller bodies. One thing to note about all of these options is that they have clips on the harness which will make it easier to get in and out of them, but if you’re doing serious technical diving, you’ll want a system without them.
