The plaintiff rented space for church services from the defendant. She claims the defendant shut off the electricity and made the plaintiff unable to hold services in the defendant’s property. She’s suing for breach of contract and mental aggravation. The defendant argues the plaintiff never paid her the full amount, so she’s countersuing for unpaid rent and mental aggravation.

I don't get it either...I'm neurodivergant and don't understand why there would be a difference or "special training". Or maybe I do, because...There isn't one. Special needs or not, you'd do what you would for someone who isn't. Speak sensatively, refrain from using unsafe and vulgar language, and just ask for blessings/good health (and/or life)/whatever. I'm personally not religious as it is, but even if I was, I don't need prayer, I just want good ole support and to know people care. Prayers don't do anything. Or at least, not for me. /shrugs

We don’t know if the members were new to the faith or if they even felt comfortable praying. If people could just pray any kind of way, then Jesus wouldn’t have shared what the foundation of prayer should be aka The Lord’s Prayer. Our church had a special needs girl who would interrupt the pastor's sermon every once in a while if she saw something she liked. We all laughed including the pastor. We loved our Down's Syndrome kid member.

She shouldn’t have been in our service? Training for prayer? Problem because you’re being asked to pray for someone outside of service? Sounds like this “church” needs more relationship and less religion

She couldn't pray for a mentally impaired child because it would cut into Bible Study time/they're not "specially trained"?!? Disgusting. Just absolutely disturbing. She's in it for the "adoration", not for God. And I guarantee the Defendant didn't ask the question about the child's skin tone. It makes no sense. Just no.

This is ridiculous. I have seen one church hold many services at different times and not once have I seen where one service overlapping into another as a bad thing. Church is a body of Christ, the more the merrier no matter the ability, color, gender or language.

The plaintiff was turning the property into a church, without getting approval from the city or town zoning committee. And then the Defendant wanted to change the inside of the newly created illegal church to her tastes. And the plaintiff was calling the starting church services, "A GRAND OPENING." A church never has a GRAND OPENING. LMAO! I laughed so hard I almost fell out of my chair. LMAO! And then the Plaintiff complained about someone bringing in a Special Needs child, which that is discrimination against the handicapped. And then the defendant admitted to holding her church stuff in the afternoon. A competition between the ladies began the troubles. LMAO!

I preach once a month at a small church and this woman is no pastor. If someone came to me and asked for prayers for a mentally impaired child I would not think twice. One thing I was trained in is prayer. There is no special training for this. The child is a human being, created by God. Jesus said let the little children come.

So if you're a church you would invite people to join your service and you don''t need to train anybody to pray for others. I don't understand her ministry. This is not Christ like.

I think she may have been thinking about we all have different spiritual gifts.. yes we can all pray but if they were looking for a prophecy or edification then yes she would be right there may have not been someone present. Plus we are instructed to go to the elders to pray for healing, she probably didn’t have elders present

Those ladies should read their bibles. 1 Cor 6:1-8 When one of you has a dispute with another believer, how dare you file a lawsuit and ask a secular court to decide the matter instead of taking it to other believers 2 Don’t you realize that someday we believers will judge the world? And since you are going to judge the world, can’t you decide even these little things among yourselves? 3 Don’t you realize that we will judge angels? So you should surely be able to resolve ordinary disputes in this life. 4 If you have legal disputes about such matters, why go to outside judges who are not respected by the church? 5 I am saying this to shame you. Isn’t there anyone in all the church who is wise enough to decide these issues? 6 But instead, one believer sues another-right in front of unbelievers! 7 Even to have such lawsuits with one another is a defeat for you. Why not just accept the injustice and leave it at that? Why not let yourselves be cheated? 8 Instead, you yourselves are the ones who do wrong and cheat even your fellow believers.
