Still use pretty much all the tools he used in the video. The tub on the bench is such a great unit but easily the best thing is the original CAV felt fuel filter. I grab them whenever they pop up. They never should have stopped making them. Kelvin injector pumps have felt blocks in the back of them and they never suffered fuel issues. So many people get the spill timing right but never check the individual cylinder phasing then wonder why the engine smokes on one or more cylinders than the others. Gardner engines make this so simple by use of engine specific phasing buttons for their pumptops. They are one tool I never ever lend out.

Hello. i have a CAV bpe6b, that i found under my house, do any of u guys know what kind of cars or what it was used for?

These CAV pumps were produced between 1920 and 1970, These were most commonly found on larger Lister Diesel engines, Like the JP6 JK6, they were also fitted to Kelvin engines. The pumps were available in the following configurations. 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 cylinder configurations. All items needed are still available to rebuild these injection pumps.

No trouble at all. Honestly these pumps aren't exactly sort after, my best advice would be to list it on Ebay and possibly auction it off, otherwise give CJ Diesel Injection LTD a ring, Chris is based in Shepperton and buys in old equipment, if I ever get a beyond repair engine in I always send him the old Injection equipment and he tends to pay quiet well.
