Sahil bhai you are wrong..if the cave is north facing then sun will do the same movement as quran says..because sun does not make a perpendicular arch over the earth. Its movement is tilited towards south side..therefore if you have home which is north facing then the face wall will remain in shadow. Hope you understand

وَ تَحْسَبُهُمْ اَیْقَاظًا وَّ هُمْ رُقُوْدٌ ﳓ وَّ نُقَلِّبُهُمْ ذَاتَ الْیَمِیْنِ وَ ذَاتَ الشِّمَالِ ﳓ وَ كَلْبُهُمْ بَاسِطٌ ذِرَاعَیْهِ بِالْوَصِیْدِؕ-لَوِ اطَّلَعْتَ عَلَیْهِمْ لَوَلَّیْتَ مِنْهُمْ فِرَارًا وَّ لَمُلِئْتَ مِنْهُمْ رُعْبًا(18) ترجمہ: اور تم انہیں جاگتے ہوئے خیال کرو گے حالانکہ وہ سو رہے ہیں اور ہم ان کی دائیں اور بائیں کروٹ بدلتے رہتے ہیں اور ان کا کتا غار کی چوکھٹ پراپنی کلائیاں پھیلائے ہوئے ہے ۔ اے سننے والے ! اگر تو انہیں جھانک کر دیکھ لے تو ان سے پیٹھ پھیر کر بھاگ جائے اور ان کی ہیبت سے بھر جائے۔

Mujhe apni awam se yehi shikayat hai k woh kisi bhi shaks ki aisi baaton ko haq man'na shuru kr dete hain jo baaten un ki apni intellect se uper ki hon.. Khair, rahi bt Ashab e kehf ki or un ki gaar ki to woh ALLAH k mojzon main se ek hai.. To us ki justification dhoond nhi payenge.. ALLAH k Mojzon ko qabool krna hota hai, woh zamaan o makaan khaliq hai us k liye kya mushkil hai k zamaan ko hukm de 300 saal k liye ruk ja or makaan ko Hukum de k in k jism 300 saal tk kharab mat kr.. To zamaan o makaan ki kya majal k Rab ul Aameen ka Hukum baja na layen.. Baqi yeh maths, geometry, geography sè ap ko kabhi pata nhi chal skta k Ashab e Kahf kahan par thy or kaise itna arsa zinda rahe..

Point well taken. However you need to understand the concept of solstice and equinox. The shift in the position of sun rise and sunset is observed with the seasonal shift. Thus explaining the AYAT that the sun skips to the right when it rises and skips to the left when it sets.

For argument’s sake, if we muslims are able to find the cave, yajooj majooj wall and identify dajjal, what will that give us? Didn’t Rasool Allah SAW tell ummah to find these things? Or he told us that when the time comes, we will see those signs? Didn’t Rasool Allah SAW foretell us that even if someone tells dajjal is there, don’t go to see for yourself? why you cant make a cave according to the ayats? imagine a mountain which has a cave opening facing north, sun will rise from the right and set on the left and no sun light will enter the cave as it has a full mountain over it.

not sure why are you making it complicated....but thanks to you, I think about it and found a very simple explanation.... considering the below ground cave, having opening upwards, if you are in the northern hemisphere the sun would rise from the east and set in the west, therefore, if you are facing the rising sun, it would be on your right side. conversely if you're facing the setting sun, it would be on your left side....
