Then they had this tub of sludge left over and some brilliant Marketing or sales person looked at it and said we’re throwing all this out, surely there’s something we can do with it instead of just disposal and thus whey protein as a meal replacement powder was born and any bodybuilder or fitness expert that is not pushing products for endorsement money, or their own supplement line , such as Stan effing or John Anderson, Rich Piana (RIP) and many others will tell you that whey protein is actually garbage for your body and casein and isolates are worse. The only meal replacement that is effective are those products that are made from egg whites and typically yams and other healthy carbs.
