15 Tips:
1. Decide to be there.
2. Check weather forecast to prepare appropriate gear.
3. Drink at least 1 liter of water 12 hours before the hike to hydrate yourself and avoid heatstroke.
4. Carry at least 4 liters of water and 2 sets of solid meal + Trail Food (Apple is recommended).
5. Bring water filter/treatment tab.
6. Bring emergency meds for stomach ache, pain relievers, aspirins and etc.
7. Protect your skin from the parching sun.
8. Know your pacing, strive hard but never push too early too much until you will reach the last and longest line of Mt. Redondo.
9. Wear appropriate footwear to prevent ankle sprain and if possible, use five finger socks avoid foot blister.
10. Wear dryfit underwear (preferably cycling short) to avoid Chafing or Chub Rub caused by moisture and the constant friction from skin and fabric.
11. Try your best to closely follow the lead pack. You will have the change to finish the hexalogy.
12. Rest if you must but not to much. Time never stops when you are resting.
13. Bring extra cash, at least 500php to 1k. Shit happens a the time.
14. Patience is virtue: never complain as it is a sign of weakness.
15. Endure hardship but do not forget to reward yourself with a bottle of soda, hot meal and a good bath after the hike.
