And I guess Cayde followed the same path as seen by his gun's visual effects and his eyes. Now that our Guardian is taking part in both wielding Darkness & Light... I guess some of the other cast members are taking part in the gamble as well.

​​@@james737er He does have an established backstory but it's sort of shrouded in mystery... I mean, his gun even has a backstory that's based around his son who was named Ace. Probably before he became an exo if I recall the lore correctly.

(remembering that he already had his memory reset many times, and decided to stop counting at 6 because he thought the number 7 was too... extravagant). In the end, he says he prefers to believe he once had a family, even if it's a lie.

@@blooey-YT bro rly doesnt know any lore. an exo's number behind the name doesnt denote the amount of times it dies, something like that wouldnt even work as long as the exo isnt a guardian. a normal exo's death is still their final death. the number stands for the amount of times their memories have been reset in order for their minds to not succumb to DER. That is also the reason why banshee-44, having been reset 44 times and with that getting progressively worse at memorizing things, forgot that he himself is an exo made from clovis brays mind. Death has nothing to do with the number so just dont even try to argue pls
