CB650R SC Project SC1-S Exhaust Sound

4 ай бұрынThe SC Project SC-1 S full exhaust system completely changes the sound of this bike while still not being obnoxiously loud and therefore legal in Europe and everywhere else (I assume).
This bike is Euro 5 and I've ridden about 1000km with this new exhaust.
The camera that was used is a GoPro Hero 4 Silver and the microphone a Zoom H1N (still working out the audio settings)

Ja, ist natürlich Euro 5 legal, aber klingt in echt schon ziemlich cool. Weniger "blechern" und hochfrequent, also nicht ganz so Rennmaschinen mäßig, aber deutlich bassiger und im Tunnel sehr erfreulich! 😁🤩

How much louder is it than stock?

Difficult to say... it feels way louder than stock when you're riding relaxed under 100 kph, on full throttle above 100kph it feels 'relatively' similar, as the wind gets louder but this is only the legal setup. I don't know how much louder it is without baffle or cat... the IXIL exhaust is louder than this (and cheaper) but I preferred the looks of this one and it theoretically increases max power. :D

@@drehfreude8537Thanks for your reply mate. I agree this exhaust does look the best and like you I don’t want something obnoxiously loud just want it to sound more substantial than stock. Plus it is fully legal! Did you get the bike retuned after installation?

It definitely sounds more substantial now. More volume but a little bit less high pitched metallic sound. I did not get the bike tuned as it's restricted to 48hp anyways and I left db killer and cat inside... :/ But it is supposed to generate ~1hp at 12000rpm when the bike is derestricted. :D And derestricting brings another 2 db of volume, so yours would be a little bit louder than this if it's not restricted. @@Gibla737
