I recently went to Our Lady of Fatima in Portugal. One of the secrets the Angel told the 3 children that was allowed to be revealed, was that Russia needs to become more Religious. Two decades later Russia had a purposeful famine called the Holomodor where over 60 million people starved to *****. It took an army to pull something like that off. God fearing people fear the consequences of their actions, atheists do not.

That's never been a reality in foster "care" throughout my entire life. This law will not actually change anything, the social workers have always been free to discriminate against potential foster and potential adoptive parents on the basis of religious and political beliefs.

When I was in Florida, I walked my dog to a park. While I was there, these two small children came over to pet my dog. The little girl sat down with me and said, “Do you see that man over there? He’s my dad. Do you see that other man? He’s my other dad!” The children were obviously in the foster care system, because they were not siblings, and they were living with the two men. As soon as one of the men realized what the little girl was saying to me, he quickly told her if she did not play, they would leave! I have never forgotten that little girl. It broke my heart! I wanted to rescue both of those children out of that situation!

I didn’t allow my child a phone until she was well past 16 yrs old, neither had unsupervised access to the internet… used only for research, with me, and homework tasks. She went to Christian schools in the US, then home schooled, then Christian school in the UK… So glad we have a close bound and now as an adult, she is going to provide the same boundaries for her future children as I set for her… she has seen the devastation caused when children are parented and brought up by social media and the internet…

I didn’t have my daughter until I was 41… (God has a good sense of timing… In younger years I was always out being creative, teaching choirs, piano, and managing a Care Home for troubled teenage boys… best thing ever. The boys loved the cooking smells that came from the kitchen… encouraged them more to stay honest and not run away! ). strangely, I hadn’t really seen myself as a parent of my own child… thankfully my miracle came late, when I was much less involved with career etc. My daughter had my full attention… within 2 weeks from hospital, she was sleeping 12 hours a night!! And during her early years, only ever had one tantrum! (Which she admits shocked her more than me!!)… God is right when HE says that children are a blessing!!

True! I taught at a home and school for children. They are quietly and quickly reducing the number of children into the Christian homes. The intention is to shutter them, soon. The few Foster homes of any worth are hamstrung by lack of contact by social workers and red tape. Foster families are quitting out of pure frustration. Meanwhile, the number of at risk children are steadily increasing.

When we applied for our license we were denied because we were asked how we would respond as Christians to a lgtbq foster child. We replied that we would love and affirm the child his or herself, but did not agree with the LGBTQ lifestyle. This happened 3 years ago.

Its misleading because the Paris Hilton bill is presented as a tool to hold foster care facilities accountable because of the abuse she suffered as a kid. Deceiving. The whole problem with Paris Hilton as a kid is that her parents had no rights and the foster care facilities did. So it’s going to look really bad for house and senate members in front of their constituents as Paris Hilton is telling her harrowing story and pushing for the bill.

This is so untrue. What he is trying to do is make it EASIER for family to adopt nieces,etc out of foster care and to make sure LGBTQ youth are safe from abuse in foster care. That’s all. Nothing about Christian’s not being able to adopt
