Biden Admin's Newly Proposed Policy Cancels Christian Parents, Experts Say

A proposed Biden administration policy change may prevent foster children from being placed in the homes of Christians.
The new rule would disallow the placement of children into the homes of foster parents who oppose the transgender agenda and LGBTQ ideologies.
The policy was announced by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in September and requires caregivers to undergo cultural competency training to ensure that minors are placed in homes accepting of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

As a Christian foster parent and natural parent, this is absolutely crazy. Terminating parental rights is SO traumatizing to a child more than not supporting LGBTQ+. Ripping kids away from their family would cause more trauma for an already struggling child.

A decade or two ago, it was under 1% of the population. The agenda has been pushed, and it's now a social contagion. As a teacher, I've seen it happen in friend groups. I've even heard students talk about doing it to get attention and feel special. Research shows that making a child change schools usually removes their desire to transition. Why? Because it removes them from the social group that pushed them to consider transitioning.

They end up doing weird irreversible stuff because they learn things without getting their hard questions answered, i.e. the parents neglect them. Technology and socializing appear to speed up negative effects in neglected children simply because these things help children learn more quickly.

I homeschool my three children and they don't have iPads or cell phones. There's one old, dusty, LeapPad that gets handed around but it doesn't have internet access. They just use it for games occasionally but usually, more often than not, it's lost somewhere

Children in the foster system have trauma. It's a given. There's a reason they had to be removed from their bio parents. That was traumatic. (Non-trans affirming parenting is NOT a reason to remove children.) The removal is traumatic too. Instead of addressing that trauma, the left wants to jump straight to hormonal meds. They bring in psychologists, usually without consulting other doctors about the physical health of the child. These hormonal meds permanently change children's bodies and sterilize them. The number who later want to de-transition (and can't undo the damage) is really high. De-transitioners usually more that they had trauma they needed to deal with before their transition, and transitioning only made the trauma worse. The rate of suicidal tendency post-transition is higher too. But the government wants to protect children from *dealing with their feelings*, rather than protecting them from permanent physical and mental harm. No, children need parents to protect them from the government!

Plus children change their minds often. Eighteen is soon enough to have surgeries and have ones body go through such a transformation. And it is most difficult on the body. But these days , there are so many employment options and alternatives for parents. I would trade off - a fraction of my salary, smaller home, different neighborhood for the safety of my children. Also, because the learning is so tailored and feedback is immediate, it doesn't take 7 or 8 hours. I agree that our schools are absolutely failing. It's part of the overall failure of the nation. A couple of centuries ago school curriculum used the Bible extensively and the knowledge base of 8 year olds exceeded most current college students.

From what I can tell Paris Hilton is trying to promote a bill to deal with legit abuse in trouble teen facilities....a lot of what I endured in homeless shelters....which btw, the church as a whole needs to be educated on because some of these places are not safe or humane. Now in terms of the specifics of what this clip is talking about in terms of Christian parenting vs lgbtq....I wouldn't know without further research because the news articles are simply talking about preventing literally abuse....what a normal person would consider abuse.

From my understanding, nothing in this video is at all about about the details of the bill. The bill itself excludes foster families from the supervision proposed by the bill. As a current christian foster parent, a former foster care worker and residential treatment worker- there are serious changes that need to be made in supporting these systems. I have zero concerns about anything the bill is proposing. It is talking about preventing physical abuse to children. Unless I am missing something in the fine print, there is nothing about LGBT advocacy.
