I am working in China Zhejiang province Recently students from my school went to one military cemetery during the Festival of sweeping tombs I asked colleagues about the cemetery and they didn’t answer Then asked the person I know from the local education department She explained me that those soldiers fell in the war between America and Vietnam Chinese soldiers fought on Vietnam’s side I was surprised because China and Vietnam are not close allies I didn’t know China helped Vietnam in that conflict

With the news that the IDF have captured two chinese engineers in a tunnel in Gaza looks to me that the chinese have been involved in the constructing and upkeep of the tunnels in Gaza possibly in south Lebannon with engineers from North Korea. Interesting to hear Chuck about building tunnels in the middle east and what the Kurds say as ofcourse it does make sense in modern warfare and the era of drones which ofcourse cannot see (as yet) underground!!

Hi, this is Lyn in Arizona. I follow you daily. My dad was in the battle of the chosen. He was a marine and fought the Chinese on the way into the Chosin and on the way out. He said the Chinese followed them out when they fought their way back out. And he had a Chinese kid that helped carry his equipment! He didn’t talk to me much about that however he did my sons.
