When I was stationed at San Diego Naval Base in the early 1990s my insurance on my Jeep was insane, and explained to me that was because it was too easy to steal it and just drive it across the desert into Mexico. The savings in people pockets will be felt directly.

Secondly, a trade surplus with Mexico simply means more goods are exported to Mexico than imported, not a dime goes into US coffers. Americans are paying for the wall, no doubt about that. The politicians file the lawsuit’s, NOT the people. Yet, they just keep getting voted in. Why is that? SO it IS the people of Michigan who are filing the lawsuits. There is nothing wrong with wanting to come here for a better life. NO ONE is against that. This is not a race issue either. It is about cleaning up our own back porches first before we take on the worlds! And it is about law and order. There is a right way to do it. And people who think that all these emigrants coming here are not being used as pawns by either their government, the drug cartels, the human trackers or by OUR own “voted in” government are not living in reality. That is the real issue. The politician’s don’t care about them. Only themselves and their cushy lives. That is why we need term limits in our congress and senate and the state and local government. To prevent them from becoming millionaires off our hard earned money. To prevent them from taking control FROM the people. WE THE PEOPLE! The biggest and the first words of our constitution. NOT “We The Elected”. One person can make a difference but 1 persons vote does not change an outcome. But, a collection of 1 votes can! You need the “Whole” of the state to vote out the corrupt.

It's not just the wall that's working in Arizona and New Mexico . There are far more checks of drug courier pick up autos on the U.S. side . Check points can spring up at any time and anywhere ... complete with helicopters that come out of nowhere . AZ & NM have seen a drastic decrease in out of state vehicles and couriers .
