Fred Gwynne had a very difficult life, but worked very hard using all his talents to the maximum, as an illustrator, painter, and an excellent actor. RIP, Fred.

Those English accents are a stretch. A British expat listening in S Florida. After forty years living in the US, I’ll still never understand the American fascination with the UK. I’m sure my accent has helped me get a few jobs (and dates).
