Don't doubt they have talent but talent alone is not the reason for their success and achievement. I absolutely respect the work ethics, perseverance and passion these children have. its hard waking up at 4am, practising 4-7 hours a day. catching up on sleep on the train.

I was only half watching this amazing family when my attention was grabbed by all their Sierra Leonean names. Isata, Brimah, Sheku,Jeneba, Konya,Aminata and Mariatu. How wonderful to see such talent connected to Sierra Leone. How wonderful that the parents gave them all African names. Agreed ... for sure the music gene is woven within them but that all of them have such a love of music, have each other to inspire a dedicated practice ethic and are so charmingly nurturing of one another is earnestly profound. Their obvious respect for the art is pronounced. The youngest at 8 could not be more gifted of a certain future at the top of the music chain ... and listen to her speak of what - practice. Discovering the Kanneh-Mason family by way of Sheku's cello performance was a WOW ... on top of the WOW that brought us all this special day - that is Prince Harry, sixth in line to the British throne. So proud of that Duke of Sussex. He honored his heart and changed up the game to be with the woman he loves, regardless of anything. Yes, a WOW is what it is. Change is what it is. Love is what it is. To see the love of the Queen for her grandson, that she allowed this glorious day for Prince Harry, Miss Markle, and the world is indeed Queenly. What stays the same will remain. What is different will remain. The sun will still rise, the moon will still glow. The goodness and power of love has won over all else - yet again. Well done Queen Mother. Well done young Prince.
