Artists are hard at work inside a Woburn studio renovating the Shaw 54th Regiment Memorial. WBZ-TV's Anaridis Rodriguez reports.

I hope that Colonel Robert Gould Shaw is polished to a high shine! He really deserves it! I think Colonel Shaw looks absolutely handsome and dashing in this Memorial to him and his really excellent 54th Massachusetts Regiment! I absolutely LOVE Colonel Robert Gould Shaw!

@Joel Camara why though? Not all are bad, the 54th regiment was literally a good history of black Americans as it showed they were capable of fighting.

The Robert Gould Shaw Memorial, which is located in the Boston Common appears in the first portion of the closing credits of the movie “Glory” (1989).

that is brilliance of craftsmanship . if i was to ever take uk trip to boston that is first i like to see . that is remarkably art form that i liked seeing on the end credits of Glory . to have that view of shaw and his men immortalised .
