Janette and Albert Aguero narrowly escaped Champlain Towers South early that morning on June 24th, 2021. They were staying in a family-owned unit, 1106, nearly 15 feet away from the side of the building that collapsed.

The reason they made it out was the sheer wall by their unit... good thing they picked that one out...

Intentional? I think so too. I heard it has something to do with McAfee

@@isaidwhatisaid1722 Thats been debunked over and over. He never owned or had anything to do with any property in that building. That whole conspiracy theory was based on one tweet that was posted on tiktok and was fake.

Hearing about this a year ago on the news has me looking at some of the rickety old apartment buildings in my area very differently even though they're not nearly as big as this Tower was in terms of number of units and height but they are far from mint

I wonder if anyone connected the dots and associated the cracks with a potential collapse given what they knew from what was discussed at the board meetings.

The further we get from the lifestyle in the original Bible and the ways of our ancestors and logical choices.. then the more risks we take. Living in a beehive type structure is not ideal. When you are in your own house you can make repairs immediately.. no waiting for someone else’s approval. Living so close to the water is dangerous. The value of a property in scripture is calculated by how many harvests you can get out of it before the jubilee year. We are meant to be in touch with the land.. not with sand. Tearing down trees on a shoreline to build apartments is actually removing the natural hurricane barrier.. something that weakens a storm. Are houses too expensive? Get a fixer upper in a more rural area. Think about all the dangerous things in modern life. Are they necessary?

I've never heard about ecological conservation from a religious standpoint. similarly, I can't say I've heard religion (note:, my reference is only the Bible and Christian religions, I'm vaguely aware of Jainism and Buddhism's belief towards respecting all living things), put any kind of emphasis on ecological conservation, or even reexamining how we value property. very interesting, I appreciate the perspective. if you don't mind, can you refer me to some books/verses/scripture that touches on what you mentioned?

Stupid thing to say. Surfside collapse should not be joked about. Glad you’re proud to live in a country where innocent children get shot and killed for no reason by gun loving idiots who’s biggest concern is losing a ridiculous, antiquated “right” to carry a weapon meant to kill. But wait, Guns don’t kill, people do! What a joke.

I get it, you are not being disrespectful of those who lost their life or the survivors, more how skewed the thinking has become in this country where the horror of this tragedy is played down while Jan 6 is over played to sound equivalent or worse. Fair enough.
