Exactly! I do not think that the public has the true story about the dog. However, being a rancher myself; I know how problematic ALL canines can be around livestock and domestic fowl. That said, if it was truly a hunting dog; it should not have been allowed to run loose; around the farm/ranch.

She says she did but can't provide any info about when and where. The US State dept says she has never met Kim Jong Un. They know every official visit to NK or a world leader going back decades. If she met Kim unofficially and off the record, that is an issue...She also said she "stared him down". She lies and loses her temper. She assumes people are threatening her. She thinks shooting a dog is more humane than an injection, and reflects well on her. I’ve had to euthanize many of my pets due to their terminal illness. I held them and petted them so they weren’t frightened. My vet was calm and loving with them. That is a compassionate way to end an animal’s life. I question this woman’s judgement

A puppy is considered a puppy up until 12-18 months. The “dog” was 14 months old. If it’s getting excited during a hunt and ruining it, it might still be a puppy.

After taking a young untrained dog on a hunt....get the birds...and then to her friends place with the chickens where she literally said that the dog escaped!!! That's on HER! She shouldn't have taken Cricket to the property OR made sure she was on a leash in the bed of the truck OR that Cricket couldn't escape the cab!!!!

We had a dog that was big enough to get on top of the kitchen countertops. I made a roast one time and left it on top of the oven after making plates. Oso decided that he too wanted some ....long story short, there wasn't any leftovers and he was the happiest puppybear on the planet. We had a good laugh about it, and since my brain pan was bigger than his, we didn't leave things out for him to get into again!!!

There's something extremely alien and weird about her in public appearances, that stiff posture quiet demeanor and monotonous speech pattern so at odds with her private behavior and add to that, the cruelty it is to shoot house animals that aren't traditional prey that is the vet's job or put in a shelter or sanctuary for real trainers to work with. To shoot a young dog for anything, is just insane Wild West mentality from 100 years ago and shows how out of touch with good ethics she is, you just don't do this in modern days.

I can absolutely tell Gayle is going really easy on Noem here. You can tell Nate and Natalie are trying to press her on her talking points, but she needs to elaborate and I’m surprised I’m a little disappointed Gayle didn’t get answers. I know she’s been drug by the media for this, but when she hasn’t provided any substance or true reasoning for her book decisions, it’s baffling. Not a great interview.

Most calves sent to veal pens are slaughtered around 16-18 weeks old, but for some types of veal the process can be even more cruel. Is this the after birth abortion that trump was talking about? The cruelty is the point with most conservatives these days, but cruelty towards animals, especially dogs, is unacceptable to most of the public. She figured it would make her tough to her base, but it just made her look savage and heartless. Glad to see her reaping what she has sown. Now if we can just get people to be as outraged about cruelty directed at their fellow man…

Do you know how many people are struggling to pay for vet care right now because of him sending huge amounts of money for foreign wars and taxing the people of our country beyond belief. I work in rescue. People are surrendering their animals, dogs especially, because they can’t afford vet care or food. Hard working people. Not to mention Joe and Jill let their German shepherds attack and hurt people ALL THE TIME! That’s very abusive. If they love their dogs they wouldn’t let that happen.

She has really wrecked her looks with all that face work. What is she thinking? In reality she is just a very-very-small town girl, outside of her depth in every way. My taxes are up. She has done absolutely nothing for me. She thinks of herself first all the time. She has put South Dakota on the map for all the wrong reasons. That is my experience with her as governor.
