Love this. In the 60s, my granddad (rookie cop at the time) saved a baby who stopped breathing. After he passed away, I found a letter from her parents to the police commissioner. They said he immediately grabbed her and gave her CPR for 30m straight until more help arrived, including a doctor (this was the 60s). He would not give up on her. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had a successful surgery and was doing well. They were so grateful for him and said they tried to make donations to the police benevolent fund etc and my granddad refused them.. he was just doing his duty and didnt need praise. And to prove it, we never knew all those years until I found the letter tucked away in a binder of his important documents.

May i ask respectfully a question, please don't get me wrong, i am just trying to understand more. Why i rarely see the good Muslims around the world condemning in PUBLIC the bad Muslims that participate in terrorism and hate violence and make you guys look bad?
@yousrich463 жыл бұрын
@@coachv4712 I’ll just say it like this, it’s because I think people don’t know who or what to imagine when they imagine " muslim " Muslims come in all shapes, black, brown, white, asian and I think that when people imagine the group of Muslims they have a completely different view of who’s Muslim. Some dress traditionally with a head scarf, niqab or some older generation men wear a djelaba. But there’s guys and girls who wear the same clothes as any everyday guy and girl you’d walk by on the streets ( like me ) I myself am a Moroccan living in Belgium and after the attacks in Brussels we went to Brussels too and you’d see a whole city of different people uniting to mourn and show that they are absolutely against this nonsense that Daesh says is Islam ( which it is NOT ). So very honestly I think it’s just because some people don’t know who to call Muslim, because we come in all ways, shapes and colors. But at every protest I’m sure there’s lots of Muslims within the crowd who condemn these coward acts and I’m sure 99% of all Muslims worldwide condemn these acts. I hope this helps you out.

He traveled a distance for her wedding too so she clearly means something to him. No wonder the girl sees him as a 2nd father. We barely hear stories like this. I thought he would be so used to saving many different lives through out his job and wouldn't remember the victims properly or be in touch with them but he has with this girl. It's so beautiful to see this. This officer is a lovely person
@pacifist13602 жыл бұрын
I think both are very lovely people, the officer and the girl, and of course the girl's family. To prepare a large meal for an officer, a chair and a table and to have everyone sit together and socialize was amazing. I really appreciate the uploader and the news crew who made this video available for everyone to see. This was very wholesome. This cop did an outstanding job saving her 20 years ago and not missing a single birthday that he sends her gifts, and she seems super charming. It's nice to hear stories like that, where wonderful people come together like that.

@Ramin Chowdhury Why because of people like her? She made a statement that I'm sure most everyone could get behind (admitting to reality), yet you purposely make a 'gotcha' comment for what purpose? I hope one day you get rid of the hate in your heart, god bless you.
@nomanmon3 жыл бұрын
@Ramin Chowdhury Assuming the worst and dismissing/treating someone poorly is a form of hate, not love. You can have hope, but understanding reality is also very important. Have a beautiful day!

“Not my baby! I’ll definitely be there”, This is such a sweet story! To save a baby’s life and then 23 years later to be at her wedding is just amazing. He’s a great man all around and for him to send her birthday and Christmas cards every year just shows how close the families have become all bc of one scary event and he happened to be the one who was there to save her life. 💕

No. this is media, they're showing you good things. But, they NEED and SHOULD you the many, many bad things cops do. Because they're supposed to do good, that's what they were hired for. They don't need praise. But they do need to be punished for killing innocent people
