Barbra Streisand returns to her Broadway dressing room

In this web exclusive, the singer who became a superstar in the 1960s Broadway musical "Funny Girl" visited her old haunts at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City, including the dressing room now occupied by "School of Rock" star Sierra Boggess.

It's nice that Barbra can enjoy her living legend status. Not so for people like Michael Jackson, Judy Garland, Whitney Houston, John Lennon, etc.

This was very nice. Sierra Boggess is an incredible singer. And, let's face it, despite any of the silly criticisms here, Streisand has been a show business sensation for over 60 years. SIXTY YEARS! She must be doing something right.

I just saw this post in 2022. Why did I miss this all these years? I'll be exactly like Sierra hyperventilating knowing that Barbra was in my room. I got to get that Saint Barbra candle ASAP.

thank you barbra Streisand for being such a kind person . I met you on Houston Texas. i didn't know who you was until a few years later. you came up to me and shook hands with me and ask me how I was doing. you was such a pretty woman and still are now. you never had any idea who I was but it never mattered too you anyway. I was just a street person at the time but you still took time for me. I may never get to meet you again but if i don't get to I will never forget meeting you. It is unusual for someone that is a star like you are to be so kind to a total stranger they had never met before. not a street person for sure your love and kindness showed me if you can care about others I can too. thank you barbra Streisand you are special I love ya girl ps I love all your movies and I love all of your songs

I used to sing along to Barbra's records and even hit the right notes. Then I had an asthmatic attack and the medication ruined my voice. Makes me weep now!

Albert M Dorca Ink I know Barbra would be furious, but Streisand is a name with German roots. And in the German language, ‘s’ is pronounced ‘z.’ It’s her name, her choice. But the ‘z’ is etymologically more correct.

Sierra left earlier this month to start rehearsals for Phantom in Paris. Jennifer Gambatese is the new Principal Mullins in School of Rock. Such a nice surprise for Sierra with Babs crashing her dressing room
