Amazing! How you learn the notes on guitar? You play it like the original. Did you buy a songbook? How much cost your harmonica? I don't know the the exact model of the harmonica. Thank You!

Brother, could I ask you a few questions? I need to know more about the setup you got going. Specifically the Amp and any pedals you might use? I’ve been thinking about getting a good fuzz and tremolo pedal to get that Woodstock 60s Creedence sound. I’m playing a dean directly into a Marshall

I've got a 325C64 that I'm working on converting to a "Fogerty 325"... but in "Jetglo" unfortunately. ?. Does that bowtie bridge sit directly on the guitar top or does it need a "plate" underneath it to get the correct string height? (Tx for all your CCR videos.. They're great).
@luc__0051
@luc__0051 2 жыл бұрын
I also own a jetglo 325c64 with the same bowtie bridge featured in this video. A bowtie bridge needs no base plate on the rick. You can just set it floating on the body. Still you need to screw it a bit higher than usual because of the rickenbacker typical neck height.

@@luc__0051 Awesome. Thank you! Another thing.. Intonation. With 10's on I'm having a hard time. Tune open string to pitch, then fret 2nd or 3rd fret, and the pitch is too high. Fret at the 12th fret and it's perfect pitch. ??? Not sure if there's some "trick" to intonating with the light guage strings. How's yours fair in this department?
@luc__0051
@luc__0051 2 жыл бұрын
@@deedubslite Yes I know this problem too well. Getting it to work properly is a mix of getting higher gauge strings and just accepting it afterwards if there is still some issues. I use 11s Flatwounds with the G-string swapped for a plain 18 gauge. Odd, I know but it's best for Fogerty stuff because you get the stability of the 11s gauge while still being able to bend the G-string with good sustain. So to conclude i'd recommend to use higher gauge strings to compensate the lower tension of the short scaled beauty and therefore also the troubles of fretting to hard and making notes go out of tune. The plain G is just personal preference because stability when fretting to hard will better be compensated with the wound G. I hope i could help!

@@luc__0051 You are awesome! Thanks. I'm going to give that a try right now. that's been pissing me off ever since I cut a bone nut fitted for 10 gauge strings. I found a high quality picture of Fogerty sitting with his 325 and you can see he has a plain steel 3rd string on it. So I thought "well 10's should be good". Thanks again ... great feedback. Bowtie bridge going on soon. Next: Trying to cut a hole for that humbucker.
@luc__0051
@luc__0051 2 жыл бұрын
@@deedubslite No problem! So you fittet a bone nut? I don't have that. Have the tuning problems risen from that point on or were they there before too? Well. Fogerty liked to experiment with strings and he often took lone strings to build a set so it's likely he used higher gauge on the higher 3 strings to compensate the stability problem. So you are really going so far as to fit the Humbucker? I also thought about doing it but I'm a bit scared of this "one-way"-modification that may destroy the typical rick sound. Do you also have a Bigsby already? If yes what's your experiences?
