This is purely a suggestion but I think XCeleste channel is the best when it comes to explanation of BU storyline, she has explained it in very simple and detailed way, it shows how well she had done her research, Imo watching the mvs plus watching XCeleste's videos will help y'all in understanding BU better🤷‍♀️

BU era.. It was a special time for Army and BTS. They became popular and started getting recognition from a lot of Koreans also international fans.. it's true they became more popular in dynamite era but this is the beginning.. Thanks guys for the reaction.. this is superb guys

They were selling out stadiums before Dynamite so they were pretty popular before that release, but maybe it was that with the English trio they became more of a household name.

When I ask from other people about BTS they didn't know about them. Few of them knew. When Dynamite came out it just blew up. We were trying to break the 24-hour record(Bp's). And we did.. We got more than 100M. I remember me and my sis streamed non-stop lmao. I didn't know it would become this big. I mean they became popular everywhere. Basically in every country not only in the US.. They became popular US around 2017. I remember watching BBMA. For me Wings era was the best. Because I became an Army in the wings era. Hehe..

I don't really think there was a need to watch both versions of the mv, the first one it's the same but without the "triggering" scenes, like the st4bbing, the pills etc, that's why its just like almost 2 minutes shorter thant the original one, also why it had less views lol the original one is +19

I deadass have a 54 page single spaced document of my initial BU notes. There's SO much symbolism and meaning and interconnectedness and STORY in this narrative. I'm a nerd. I love world-building and lore and the BU is as rich a lore as any I've seen. I'm excited for this part of your journey!

One of the things that made me become an ARMY was after I watched "I Need U" and I thought, while other singers talk about riches and perfect worlds, these 7 boys had the courage to show, in 7 different lives, that the world is a jungle and that apart they had everything to go wrong, but just like their real lives, they were strong when they were together... no ships, no persecution, they grew up together as a family. And after I met B.U. I completely fell in love. These are truths that need to be told and no one has the courage and they gave hope in a beautiful and kind way.

The greatest thing as an army was following the BU story in real life. I wish every army could have experienced it because it was an EXPERIENCE. There was so much content and so little answers, we were all there like "WHAT IS GOING ON??" Twitter was the best time then because we were all busy trying to figure stuff out and make theories. It was frustrating, it was stressful, it was anxiety-inducing but it was so SO much fun. Nothing ever compares, I hope they get back to the BU universe with a new story.

BU is one of the things that got me into them. Back in 2017 when they were touring with their Wings album (which is heavy with BU story). I was mesmerized and even started reading philosophy from Carl Jung cause of this. They got even more popular at that point cause i remember their videos being recommended by youtube like crazy. There's a certain nostalgia that their music gave with HYYH and Wings. Like a homage to youth. I'll always remember that period fr.

This might be when they first mentioned having THE BU, but it's not the first video about it. Right after their debut they had videos (not part of mvs) where they had their characters first met at school. They've had BU content way before this. They even recreated some of the scenes for the BU themed drama that's coming out + There's videos on here where they connected ALL the content chronologically. Not explanation vids, just official content stitched together

Hoping your admins give you a more detailed summary maybe at the end of the week idk, because you won't get much just watching the mvs lol, there's a lot that you only get reading The Notes (it comes with the album, it's a like a book and basically tell the story we're watching in the MVs but with more details and all) 24:10 lol that's why you can't just rely on mvs to understand the BU, Abby is right!!

Finnaly BU. You all are off to a great start experiencing everything like most of us did in 2015 . Its fun to see you come up with theories of your own rather than it being given to you by your admins and giving a propoer sum up of everything in the end which clears your doubts and completes your theory in a way.
