After seeing the petrified, out of shape blob that played no guitar solos at the recent pre Kiss Kruise show, I can't say I'm terribly excited by the prospect of a Vinnie Vincent comeback at this late stage. Thanks for the memories Vinnie, you did give Kiss a much needed shot in the arm as a young man.

I was there in Atlanta back in January and I was seriously considering going in his show in December. Something told me it wasn't going to happen. Glad I didn't buy airfare/hotels.

No matter how Vinnie is as a person, I still think he was a badass guitarist and all of this just adds to his legend in a weird kind of way. He always had a bad reputation since day one.

To those who think that Vinnie can’t play I guess we will see in February. I think he can still play. His hands looked fine, not lost,not confused or lost. Is he what he was in the 80’s? Not sure but I hope we get to find out.

Interesting note though...when Robert F. announced his "bow out", he made mention that the Graceland venue had been a no-go for quite some time before they finally postponed it. If that piece of info didn't throw up a red flag for even the most diehard fan, then not sure what would...Just hope my refund comes soon. Afraid it's going to get nasty...

It's very difficult for a guitarist like Vinnie to keep those chops up for 20 years while he's hiding away a great guitarist has to practice that's why they're great they have to practice and practice and practice. Just like a gymnast who has to practice constantly to stick the landing or on a figure skater who has to constantly jump to do the triple Lutz Landing properly. You just don't take a few years off get on the ice skating rink and do a triple Lutz jump or a gymnastic routine that won you a gold medal. You have to play and play and play I think Vinnie lost his chops

It seems like VV doesn't want anyone making a dime off his name unless it's him. And that includes paying promoters, marketers, agents, etc. The problem is you get what you pay for, and it's a shit show bc his using amateurs who are fans of his to do what professionals should be doing.

Burning Bridges just proves how bad Mark and Dana were without Vinnie. Sure they got huge, but they shared the same audience with New Kids on the Block. The irony of a revenge song totally sucking is just too funny. Vinnie needs a manager and needs to just stick to music and let someone else do the business side.

Another episode about Vinnie with plenty of trolling. Guy is contracted for 2 songs, gives 3, and still gets attacked. Poor Vinnie will never be able to please some of the haters. Exiting out at 20 minutes. So much negativity. It’s sad.

I’m confused listening to your Podcast. You were really “Pro-Vinnie Vincent”, now you’re “Anti-Vinnie Vincent”? I’m not sure I understand that? I hope everyone that made arrangements to go see VV were able to get their travel expenses refunded or exchanged. However, I just went and checked, both of the VVI albums are still as brilliant as they were 10 years ago & so are his Kiss contribution. Speedball Jamm is still tedious to the point of literally being painful. I’m a huge VV fan, that being said, I have absolutely ZERO desire to ever meet VV or see him try to play live at his age. I’m also not a huge KISS fan, although I have seen them live 4 or 5 times, 2 of the shows were good (Revenge Tour, Reunion Tour), I could take or leave the other 2-3 times(Psycho Circus, The Neverending Farewell Tours). I’ve never met any KISS members, and have no desire to. I have purchased tickets to shows that were canceled or postponed. I’ve had to eat the cost of tickets, because I couldn’t make the postponed date and couldn’t find a resell buyer. I’ve bought tickets several times, back in the day, to see an opening act & co-headliners only to find out they weren’t playing, after I got to the venue. It sucks. I have no ill-will towards any of those artists or promoters, I probably was really annoyed at the time, but had to just let it go. I’ve heard Dana Strum is a huge pr!ck, from someone I know really well and trust, that doesn’t make me dislike Slaughter anymore than I already do (I do still like the production Dana Strum did on that Kik Tracee album though). I love Badlands. All 3 albums. If Ray Gillen knowingly had unproductive sex while HIV positive, that probably makes him one of the sh!ttiest human beings ever. If true, the victims(or their families) should just get all of his royalties from his share of the music & publishing. That doesn’t change a single note on those records or how I feel about those albums. Phil Spector killed a person. “Be My Baby” is still amazing. I still own my Phil Spector Box Set.

And that Slaughter song is cringeworthy. 😆
