Wanted to kick back up my collection series with some of my metalcore/deathcore albums. What're some of your favorites in your collection? :]

I just ordered a CD and it's Edge of Sanity's Purgatory Afterglow. An underrated melodic/progressive death metal band and album. As far as the CD's you got here, you got some cool stuff. I have Bullet for My Valentine's Scream Aim Fire, Carnifex's Slow Death, Unearth's the March, and Killswitch Engage's As Daylight Dies on CD as well. Clairvoyance is an overlooked album from the Contortionist. Soul Sphere does get a lot of hate, it's not one of Born of Osiris' best but I prefer it over Tomorrow We Die Alive. Fed Through the Teeth Machine from the Red Chord is an overlooked classic in the genre. Very cool collection so far.

I've just begun my metal CD collection, but I do have quite a few classical CDs (since I grew up in a family who had ties to people in my city's orchestra, and also are quite well versed on classical music as a whole). Probably my favorites out of the collection of metal CDs are: "Slave Design" - Sybreed (phenomenal album by a phenomenal cyber metal band from Switzerland, got this album at a local Half Price Books) "Antagonist" - Neurotech (another album that I got at the same Half-Price Books. It was a little pricey, and I was confused, until I looked through the booklet and found a signature by the founding member, Wulf. A neat little surprise, and I also got The Decipher Volumes by the band there as well). "Modes of Alienation" - The Alien Blakk (a bit of an anomaly: a super underground prog metal band with barely an internet presence to speak of, yet somehow they got MARK FREAKING HAMILL to make an appearance on their second album. This album doesn't have that appearance, but it's still a jamming good time. Again, got this one at a Half Price Books.) I'm also getting a couple CDs next week from The Human Abstract ("Nocturne" and "Digital Veil"), a fantastic early progressive metalcore band with a classical twist. Not gonna lie, I would also LOVE to have Sybreed's second album, Antares, in the collection as well, but we'll just have to wait on that one for now.

My CD collection isn’t the biggest, but I do have enough to maybe do a video on it sometime. We’ll see if that one happens or not.

This is awersome! I thought I was the only one left who still buys and collects CDs. I even had to build my own CD cabinet because there's no way I could ever find a CD rack that could have 300+ CDs on display hahaha

i love CD, cassette, and vinyl collection videos. and I know Rise Records has everything from DGD, including the EP, on vinyl. I'm not sure about CD tho

I have all A7x CDs (except for Waking the fallen and STST in my country these are IMPOSSIBLE to find!) I have 9/10 Trivium albums (I don't have Ember to inferno, bc I can't find it anywhere iny country) I have all Bullet for my valentine albums and now I'm searching for ATR The Fall of ideals, Overcome and The order of things. By A7x the the albums I'm missing, by Protest the hero I'm looking for Volition, The fortress, Kezia and Pacific myth and lastly by Dragonforce I'm looking for Sonic firestorm.
