We get asked this question a lot! Most people think that a career of commercial diver or underwater welder is a short term career choice. We talk to Patrick Jeffries a lifetime commercial diver that works with the Oceaneering Corporation. He started a career as a diver and now works in a specialized field in the offshore oil and gas industry. He stopped by CDA Technical Institute to interview our divers for their new careers as offshore divers and agreed to answer a few of our questions about the commercial diving industry.
