Probably more Japanese high numbers are really hard for non native speakers I’m a Japanese speaker of twenty years now doing translation gigs and I still struggle with saying numbers in the millions Since you have to say like one thousand thousands and stuff I’m bad a math so it gets really confusing at high numbers as there’s no flat word for a million

While Connor's is like the entire world that likes gaming/anime/vtubers/podcasts/voice acting/japan adventures. Minus the non-english speaking countries (despite me being Brazilian and still being a big fan of him) , Connor has a lot of friends and connections in japan as well

If we assumed people who watches yt are under 40's then that means it's not even 40% of japan population and around 50 million people. Maybe I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure Felix is like astronomically more known than Connor. Like PewDiePie is a household name and he's done interviews and stuff. Not knocking on Connor or anything but with the levels of fame PewDie has to deal with it would surprise me greatly if most people didn't know him if they really looked and thought about it

He has been around pretty much since KZfaq exists and has always been famous for being the most subscribed person in the world. Considering pretty much everyone has a phone and KZfaq nowadays it's not that unrealistic. Though a lot are definitely still fake accounts stemming from the T-Series war but that's most definitely the minority as KZfaq cleans up bot accounts every now and then

He is spread out onto trash taste and especially streaming, so it that was all in one (minus the overlap ofc), it'd reach more than the 3mil anyways. I'd say he is a pretty big deal nowadays, also for EN standards, and his yt sub count doesn't reflect all that, that's what I mean.
