Why does this only show the parallel? I failed my skill test last week I pass the straight back and off set. How did you only get to the the parallel? Do you know if when I go back I’ll just have to do the parallel or will I have to do all three again?

It really depends on what your examiner says . could be either or

Thank you well I guess it won’t hurt to mention to them I already passed the other two backing so can I just do the parallel. I had trouble getting my truck straight after the first two. Thank you for responding I appreciate it I go back in a few days hope goes well have a good day

Can you teach me how to keep truck and trailer straight stop when trailer tire is 2 feet away from the top cone? Thank you!

2 feet is talking about the back of your trailer should be parallel to the cone and about 2 feet(about shoulder width)on the side of it. Pretty much the back corner of the trailer should be on the side of the cone about shoulder width from it. When you get out and look. You should be able to stand between the back of your trailer and the cone. I haven't did this in a while but that should help

When you're backing, you can kinda tell where the trailer is gonna go by paying attention to the trailer tires and the back of the trailer. The trailer tires determine where the trailer is going and watch the back of trailer to make sure you don't hit anything

@@ReachingNewDimensions I'm always too far away, maybe 4 feet, so I am out of the lane when I done. Is there any way to keep that distance just at first by driving straight ahead?

Could try to look for references on the ground such as a concrete line or stain.

The problem I’m having is when I get out of the backing and have to go into offset I can’t never get my truck back straight and I’m taking to much time getting the truck straight I run out of time how do I get it straight when I don’t have enough room to get it back straight because when I’m practicing I can pull up as far as I want to get it straight

Remember you're getting you're trailer straight not the truck. Try to look at trailer tires when you pulling up and turning the wheel. Do it slowly and once you're trailer tires are close to where the should be turn the steering wheel the other direction to straighten back up. I think this should help.

Getting out and looking once should still be good enough to pass as long as it's before starting to back. It's best to g.o.a.l. at least twice though

@@ReachingNewDimensions Ok. Yea, I just finished a 5 week CDL training program class and we were practicing in a 10 speed transmission this same maneuver. We went through some herky jerky with pressing and releasing the clutch just right getting into the parking cones without any parts of the vehicle crossing boundaries. Training was all good in the end. I see you did a good job, nice and smooth and in the space. Keep it up. 👍

You did pull up when you were in the box…. That’s considered a pull up. But still nice maneuver, title is just misleading.

@@SlamminRDixon I just passed the pre trip this Friday. Not enough time for the parkings. I wonder if you have to perform all them parkings or just depending on the card you pull.

@@TheYellowBastard76 well I'm scheduled for my skills and road test this Friday. I purposely made the appointment on Friday at the latest in the day(when everyone wants to go home) so hopefully my examiners will rush me out and get my cdl lol

@@waguillon95 that’s pretty cheap, what all did they help you guys with ? In HTX it’s 1500. They gave me (and prolly everyone else) all the knowledge to pass the computer test to see obtain a CLP, and then 6 hours behind the wheel with an instructor. You can take your test whenever the truck is available
