The Royal Wedding in the Kingdom of Bhutan.
The wedding of His Majesty the King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, King of Bhutan, and Druk Gyaltsuen Pema took place on 13 October 2011 at the Punakha Dzong in Punakha, Bhutan.
The current King of Bhutan, His Majesty the King Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, married Jetsun Pema, who became Queen Druk Gyaltsuen Pema Wangchuck at the age of 21 years.

During pandemic, instead of staying at royal palace, he moves to every part of the country to help, organize, supervise everything for the wellbeing of the citizens. He is a living god. I'm so grateful for having a ruler like him. We got free education, free health services and we get scholarships for colleges. His Majesty is truly humble and cares about everyone

Bhutan....the only country in the world where the living standards of the population are not purely assessed on economic and monetary factors but the Gross National Happiness index including cultural, religious, environmental, health related matters and how politicians interact with the people. With a restricted tourism due to environmental guidelines, they want to preserve for next generations.

We visited Bhutan 2 years ago.. It was the most amazing place and the people are so nice! They were all so full of praises for the King. We even passed by the car of the former King on the road.. N it was just 2 cars! if our guide uncle hadn't told us it was him in there, there was no way to know that he was the former King...so humble people... Love from Tripura, India ❤️

I hope Bhutan and its people would continue their way of living and their culture for many years to come and be an inspiration to other countries that GDP isn't that important but the Gross Domestic Happiness. There's a lot of rich countries but they have high mental health issues as well as increase of suicide rate. Its just shows that Bhutan really knows whats important- and its the happiness of the people.
