Watching this after the June Nintendo Direct when Echoes of Wisdom was revealed

Why not a remake of the original Zelda on the NES. It was an open world style and would work well with the BOTW/TOTK engine.

Its probably gonna be something called "The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom"

For the next Zelda game, I would like the relationship of Link and Zelda to blossom even further, bringing back the Triforce (since it has been within the Princess the whole time), the return of Demise, explore places beyond Hyrule (since Sidon's wife Yona came from a different Domain) and to see the pair become new rulers of Hyrule.

A third installment to the BOTW/TOTK series would be incredible, but I don’t want it to come first. Three Zelda games of the same style and story coming out in a row would leave little wiggle room for ideas for newer Zelda game styles. If it DOES happen. I think it will centered around the theme of power (the last two were wisdom and courage) and center around the Yiga.

I think the next mainline game will be in the past at the time of the first calamity when Shiekah tech was at its peak. That’s what the crafting system will be based around. I can just feel it.

Got a big hunch here! The Ancient Hero's Aspect is the reward given to players when they complete all shrines. The reward isn't the high defense when upgraded since there's other setups with a higher total defense stat, but it's the hint the developers are giving players on what's to come. When you visit Pura, Impa, Cece, and other historians, they state that you look exactly like the first Calamity hero. As for the next story: "At this time, we are not planning to release additional content," Aonuma said to Famitsu (via VGC). "We feel like we have already fully explored and exhausted the gameplay possibilities in this world. Initially, the reason we decided to develop a sequel was because we believed there was still value in experiencing new gameplay within that particular Hyrule. If in the future we find a compelling reason, we may revisit that world once again. Whether it’s another sequel or an entirely new title, I believe the next game will offer a completely new experience. I hope you’ll look forward to it." In another interview, there's a hint that the next game will be a prequel in the storyline to BOTW/TOTK. Maybe because of the increased desire for Zelink that was missed out in TOTK, maybe this time Zelda and Link would actually have a more serious relationship to help overcome their trials together.

Oot is one of my personal favorite zelda games, because it was the first one i ever played, and to see a remake with better graphics, controls, story elements, dungeons, and maybe some modern characters and their designs (the old zora designs literally gave me nightmares but we dont talk about that) i would die a happy woman

i think a really cool concept for a new zelda game would be a breath of the wild/tears of the kingdom art style with the minnish. I’ve always thought the minnish were such a cool race and combined with the art style of the current games, shrinking and growing sizes with a minnish cap or something similar would be a fun experience.

alternatively and hear me out, the previous two mainline Zelda's (Botw and Totk) are both colour coded to each triforce part i. e. Botw was blue for courage, Totk was green for wisdom soi it would make sense if the next one was red for strength and added crafting/more combat abilities and outcomes

They already redid ocarina, the 3ds version has enhanced graphics. Also if you pay attention in the water temple there are markings all over the walls which make navigating that godforsaken place much easier, but the whole game got a huge graphical boost.

Grezzo is probably nearing completion on a new remake, I’d say likely oracle of season and ages remakes. I mean the assets already exist, it’s just a matter of porting the different worlds and combining them

A remake of Oracle or season's and Oracle of time, but included with it is the unmade third game Oracle of Secrets. Maybe make it that to unlock Oracle of Secrets you have to complete both of the other games first.

Get ready this my idea: I think the next zelda should be a new link mix between tp link, oot link and skyward sword link. Prefferably tp link's realism and abilites, skyward sword links, abilities and dugeons, and oot links dugeons and, fire arrows. Nintendo should use the heart peices instead of the light blessings or spirit orbs. They should use the stamina bar but no stamina vessels, and they should make where stamina is only used for running up walls, and sprinting. My plot would be: Fresh new hyrule, mixed with tp, oot, and skyward swords hyule layout. Link should be older like 21, and have much strength. It should be link has some evil spirit trying to take controll of him. He somtimes goes a little high on killing enemies, putting them through pain. Through the dugeons he slowly gets rid of this spirit making him evil.

I had an idea for a Zelda game called link to the past present and future where Link can change randomly or when you press a certain button into all of his forms from across every game and you can like swap between his different skill sets and or weapons and there might also be a multiplayer option

And then they could include the rest of the story, like, after he beats gannon and goes back in time to do so again as a child before gannondorf can take over hyrule.

The remake of Link's Awaking was chosen because it was a minimum-level effort with a high-yield output, by which I mean that they had to make almost no gameplay changes and simply had to upgrade the graphics to more modern 3D elements, while still maintaining the arial view and physics. OoT already had a minimum-effort, high-yield remake though with Ocarina of Time 3D. The graphics could be improved on a new Switch version, but not significantly enough to justify another remake. Remaking the game beyond what they did on the 3DS will take far more development time due to rebuilding the world models and reprogramming the physics and gameplay mechanics. Also in general, upgrading any older game to be styled like BotW and TotK will be a very daunting task. Link's Awaking worked well because they chose a very simplified 3D modeling style that worked well for quickly adapting the game to newer technologies.

The important thing is I don't think we have that much for a fully new zelda game to be made. Link's awakening's remake was much smaller on the scale than a remake of oot would be.
