Sadly I believe I may be giving her up and selling I honestly don't want it it's one of my dream trucks but I need the money . But I'll say I may just keep it if someone don't buy it for I'm wanting . Yeah that's never good about the lifters that sucks , this one started a tapping noise tho I believe it is a lifter that needs some attention but only does it cold and goes away when fully hot , all I know is it just started all sudden one day and I'm like what the heck now and definitely from valve cover area heres a updated video

Yeah, 5 speed would be badass, I've considered it, but time will tell. I love the motor, the problem is who ever had this engine before me beat the hell out of it and my dumbass didn't know it was a flat tappet cam engine. Now my plan is to put a more stock-ish used 350 in and rebuild the flat tappet 350 eventually and put in another car. Just to get it running sooner. Cheers

I wonder if your lifter might be sticking when cold. It's tough to say that kind of scenario, but it's a Chevy and they don't take long to diagnose!

That I have done but not on Camara but I will say cant anymore cause clutch isn't that strong with how thick the new tires I have on it now. Grips to good an starting to get a small bearing noise from the trans with clutch pedal put so the input shaft bearing is shot cause when push clutch In it will go quiet . Like said not bad yet but I can hear it

I have the documents to prove it! . Yes It's a 5-digit odometer with a 0 in front of the 99,000 so when it rolls over 100,000 that will all change

@@KnuckleHeadGarage27 I disagree. The 0 is in front of 9,993. The white side of the numbers is 10ths of 1 mile. One full turn of the white part equals 1 mile.

@@KnuckleHeadGarage27 ....and as far as it being a 5 digit odometer you're partially right. It's 5 digits as far as whole miles are concerned. The 10ths of miles makes it a 6 digit.

Wow yeah I often really been thinking about pulling the v8 an swap into my S10 cause low miles an runs so good but I still would need a trans tho . I rather keep mine original but still looking for a 283-350 v8 for s10 an a trans but they are expensive right now it is unreal and I'm not paying that much for each item that people are asking for lol.

I found a 80s Chevy Camaro Z28 with a 305 V8 automatic and the guy wanted $1,200 for the whole drivetrain an im going what the hell an he's like the car has 93000 miles but it sat for like 30 years and the engine looks to be messed with in the car looks like it has been flooded before and there's no radiator hoses on it so there's no Cooling in it and there's no telling if it's even any good at all people want too much for junk

@@KnuckleHeadGarage27 , I gave $400 for the S-10 , The 4 cylinder was blown up, I only wanted it for the body anyway , I got the 4 cylinder pulled out and the V-8 is ready to go in , then bad weather hit and everything is on hold , The 350 was rebuilt about 4 years ago and has a mild Lunani cam with Headers and 4 barrel carb , I'm just waiting for the weather to warm up , I got a 89 Chevy truck with a 4 bolt main 350 but it's got a TBI Throttle body and computer which I don't like , And I didn't want to change the intake to accept a carburetor , I got a 283 but it needs rebuilt and I don't want to do that now either, So it was steal from the 78 Silverado and go with what I like
