Gargoyle, El Flaco, Gator, Shady, and myself encounter an active forest fire on the trail. Ground crew hadn't showed up yet but I was sprayed with water as helicopters were trying to put out the fire. I ran pretty hard and tore up my feet so I sadly parted ways with the crew to recover in Reserve, NM.
