donc on utilise ça/cela devant toutes les verbs sauf être et on utilise ce devant les verbes être, pouvoir et devoir. je pense que je comprends, merci

qui a fait et qui a fait cela have the same meaning, l' is a pronoun for cela or ça. You will hear both in France ça serait mieux and ce serait mieux but the second is correct!

Qu'est-ce que is "What is this that" usually used to say "What is" or "What are" for example "What are you doing?" "Qu'est-ce que tu fais" another example "What is this" "Qu'est-ce que c'est"... Since this comment was posted 4 months ago, I'm going to say you figured it out by now 😅

Isn't ce supposed to be used with a masculine singular noun, and with plurals you use ces? In that case, shouldn't it be ces sont mes chiens, or am i completely wrong?!

Well ces is not the plural of this ce, here ce is a kind of neutral so we use ce or c’

In your example "ça dépend de ce qu'elle dit!", why is "ce" used? "que" is not a form of the verb "to be".

No. "Elle" is the subject pronoun and means "she." To say "give her that," you must use the indirect object pronoun "lui," "her."

lui can actually be used for him or her. It is used as the indirect pronoun. So because you give something TO her you have to use "lui". For example: I speak to her (Je lui parle). I see her. (Je la vois).

Elias Velasco Garcia because in your sentence, 'her' is a subject pronoun, not an object pronoun which is replacing an indirect object. In the sentence "Donne-lui ça!" you are replacing an object indirect so you must use an object pronoun (third person, singular). In French doesn't exist the feminine form for object pronouns. We just have LUI ('to him' or 'to her') or LEUR ('to them') for the third person. Excuse me if my English isn't exact, I speak Spanish.
