House Dance Forever, the mother of all Forever battles, takes place in Paradiso, Amsterdam each year in February. The House Dance Forever battle was born in 2009 and inspired the summer edition: Summer Dance Forever.
Summer Dance Forever is an inner city urban dance festival where dancers from around the world gather in the city of Amsterdam, each year in August.
Seven days to enjoy an international dance feast, packed with the best of today and the great promises of tomorrow. Organized in several venues around town, expect a great variety of dance performances, next level battles and workshops to refresh and boost your skills. A true summer in one of Europe's hottest cities, soaked in dance, to be remembered forever. Forever...and ever...and ever...

Yowza. Gooooooodfirst round! They are excellent dancers and the outfits are really great, too. Cebo is killing and musical, and Raza is flying and like a Disney character.

I don't know if the dancers were tired, but the feeling is low energy, from the audience too. but for video it's little vibe . peace . big up !!!

The thing is, people give a lot of energy after battles but the dj still blasts the music on max volume. So the crowd has to scream even louder than 100 decibel music/sound. Only to then hear that they're not giving enough energy to people when the music finally gets turned down (after simultaneously being high with loud applause etc). It gets really tiresome after a while to keep hearing that you're not doing enough, when you actually are. Also, this was after a party night, so people were also really tired I guess

The vibe and energy of the battle in recent years been kind of Mehh. Idk what it is. Goes for the crowd as well. I can’t explain what it is exactly

Obviously no disrespect to both of these talented dancers, but this exchange lacked creativity, energy, and just didn’t match the level we’re accustomed to seeing in this competition. I felt like Karim was the only one really bringing a fresh perspective to the final set of dancers.

I'm curious why you think this is mid. These are 2 people at the highest levels of house dance technicality if you put them side to side. Both their musicality skills are top tier. Please show me a dancer/battle, that you think is not mid, but high level. Or better yet, show us yourself ✌🏽

the dickriding on these posts just shows how weak artforms become when yurugu appropriates culture and then claims to be experts. you lames would not survive in the clubs where the TRUE genius creates these styles and musical movements. the devil is a liar.

But nobody can deny that they are top tier technicians. Just because you don't like their style compared to others, you say they're worse than others. And paradox lol, he isn't even a house dancer? If you're so amazing get your elitist ass out of your little comfortable bubble in baltimore and prove your skills in a tournament instead of running your mouth all safe behind your screen, mister keyboard warrior.

I get where you’re coming from. But I don’t think it’s beyond mid.. it’s a slower battle, I think it’s partly due to the energy of the crowd. As I commented in here. I think I’m recent years the vibe of this competition been getting “mehh” . Partly due to politics with certain people winning over others due to who’s judging or if it’s people who may have won already. Idk just speculating what I think.
