Cebu City is often referred to as the "Queen City of the South". It's a bustling metropolis with cultural heritage due to it being the oldest city in the Philippines.

▸ Sirao Pictorial Garden - this is the newer garden and is within a short walking distance of the original Sirao Garden

We hired a taxi from 9.30am - 1.30pm as to get to the Sirao Gardens and Temple of Leah then were dropped back into the city centre for lunch. It's a bit of a far drive and it was more convenient for us than trying to catch local public transport (using jeepney and habal-habal). We couldn't seem to book Grab for the journey either (even though Grab is available in Cebu) and we didn't want to get left stranded up the mountain so chartering a taxi seemed the best solution. We used Grab to get around for the second half of our day.
