Aloguinsan is a small and quiet town tucked in the western seaboard of Cebu Island. Yes, it is small but it can give you big time happiness.
Like its most popular spots, Hermit's Cove and Bojo River the town is also tucked and hidden. Aloguinsan's location most people say that it is sort of secluded. Yes it may be true but most hidden things always remain exciting. Attractions of the town are many. Just do your research or simply coordinate with its local tourism office. I mean it, there's a lot to explore.
During my visit, I entered the town via Carcar City (taking the Liburon-Kawasan-Esperanza Road). The road to Aloguinsan from Carcar is full of scenic views. Plus, the road is quite good. It may not be your usual route when going down south but it is a guaranteed worth your drive.
The moment I reached its poblacion, I headed to their parish church. Then, went to the town's sentro. I was hungry and I was in Aloguinsan's Market, there's a local carenderia popular among locals. Ting's Foodmart. Try it.
After a sumptuous meal, I went to Barangay Bojo and Kantabogon to take a peak at the town's mst famous tourist spots. Then, from there, I also checked its municipal hall and Balwarte Park.
I know my time was short but check out my video, if you haven't been to Aloguinsan, this one is for you.

My mom is from Carcar and it was wonderful to have visited back in 2018 with my family. She had already passed but I felt a great sense of connection of the city she spent her youth.

If I’m not mistaken, Tañon Strait is very deep and it’s a fault line dividing Cebu and Negros; Cebu going north and Negros going south. So impressed with your content, Sir! Now, the Bojo River cruise is on my bucket list. That place is beautiful! Thank you very much, Sir! Till next time.

Boss, bisitaha nya pud puhon ang mga busay (FALLS) sa Aloguinsan. Naa sa Brgy Kawasan ug naa pud sa Brgy Esperanza. Imo ra na agian ang Brgy Esperanza sunod na sa Zaragosa. Apila na lang pud ang ULBOHAN spring (boundary sa Pina ug Alog) sakup siya sa Brgy Bonbon, Alog. duol ra man. Sitio Mohon, Brgy Bonbon, nya naay skina paingun sa ULBOHAN spring. Nindut ug hunas ang dagat. Kai ug taub mosulod naman ang dagat.
