Oh my God I needed this!I have been struggling about what my purpose was all my adult Christian life. That’s because I thought my purpose was my calling. This brings me to tears because it frees me from questioning what my purpose is and allows me to do what I’m called to do in this season freely. Praise God! I’m so glad I found you ladies and this channel ❤

This helped me so much. For years I struggled to find my purpose, and it's been there all along--to glorify God. I can do that by using the gifts he has given me for his kingdom. It's not necessarily some great big role, but something small that ministers to people.

That's not necessarily true. God has a special calling for each of his children. We must seek him with out whole heart and he will reveal to us that which he has called you to do. And as you start living a life of obedience and surrender he will empower and equip you with spiritual gits and the anointing to do that which he has called you to do. Some of us God will use in our career. While others of us he will separate to be in ministry like the apostles. Seeking God will help us to understand where he wants us in ministry or a career.

This series has blessed my soul. I had been frustrated and waiting for God to reveal to me what I am supposed to be doing, as I know what some of my giftings are. Someone spoke into me a couple days ago and told me that God was going to reveal it to me in a few days. He did. I am now confident and assured in knowing my calling. I am excited and ready to move forward. Thank you and may God continue to pour into you as you pour into us.

We should always do the work of God's calling like you Victoria Osteen you're a pastor and God has called you to be a pastor to preach and you're a great preacher but you're a teacher of the word and the way you inspire people and may God bless you with your preachings. I also wanted to do economics and I didn't qualify to do it but now I'm doing pastry and like my brother him he is doing law and God has called him to do law and he chose to do it several years ago when he was in highschool and so he became hardworking from there he went to university and he is now working but he likes it. I'm an encouragement to many speak words of life Healing and blessing to many even though I wanted to be a teacher because I had a prophecy that I would be a teacher someday on podcasts and encourage people as I'm an offer and I can understand that I didn't get good grades in English at all or math because I'm from another country, Ukraine. I went back to Genesis. God’s original purpose plan for us. We were created to be fruitful multiply replenish subdue and have dominion. Miles Monroe’s teachings on The Kingdom of God has transformed the way I see purpose and calling. The church preaches the Gospel of Jesus but is not doing a good job in preaching The Gospel that Jesus preached. The Kingdom of Heaven. “Religion”has had me in bondage 😭😭😭

Question. We see the world using The Gifts God gave them and make financial profit from that FREE GIFT. I believe God has put the question in my heart to ask others.... IS HE PLEASED WITH US PROFITING, FINANCIALLY, from the Gifts He's given to us FREELY? As I read my Bible, I don't see where Jesus charged for Salvation or His Word. I also don't see His Apostles or disciples charging. I DO see them rebuke the sorcerer who wanted to PURCHASE the Gifts. Yet, we have those who CHARGE A FEE to preach The Gospel. And what about those who CHARGE A FEE to sing worship songs unto the Lord? Really something to think about. Do you have any thoughts?

@Kiesha-rq4bf For me, it's simple. As I read about Joseph and others in the Bible, God shows me HOW HE MADE ROOM and provided for them BECAUSE OF their Gifts. We have turned His Gifting into what my husband calls Christian INDUSTRY....I call it PIMP'N GOD. We should never charge others what He has freely given us. The reason I don't understand how we justify bible college. Are we PAYING TO LEARN THE WORD???? It is God who opens our understanding gives us revelation and illumination. It's not up to me to push this down other's throats. I believe God has me speaking out to make folk THINK ABOUT HOW JESUS FEELS. Because THAT'S what matters. Sister, if you believe God put it on your heart to share this thought KEEP SHARING. It is up to God to change the hearts of others. He using us as His Tools... in and with love💕

The way I see it, as a singer & teacher myself, how much would it cost for me to leave my children? It’s not about simply about the profit, if it’s your full ministry it’s your job. I homeschool, I spend every day with them. I am going to be traveling in September if this year. I was sought out, I was asked to minister. I prayed & asked God if it was a necessity for His people in this season & it is. I sang for free all my life, worked with youth for free all my life I was already doing what He asked me to do. Now He’s providing something extra for myself & my family. There’s not a single thing wrong with that.

@saraialemann I believe God provides everything we need. I also believe God will put on other's hearts to be used in that Providing. As He sent His disciples out, two by two (Luke10:1-16 *verse 7), He instructed them to take nothing. He didn't say you couldn't receive blessings from the hearts of people. He will place a blessing on someone's heart specifically for you. As you work in His Kingdom, doing His Will. My question comes from my loving God. Knowing He is in control of all things. He says in His Word the ravens and the flowers don't have to worry or do for themselves (Matthew 6:26-30 *verse 28). We were born into a culture where these things are already in place. We have to PURCHASE God's Word, the Bible and Bible colleges. In the Bible, I don't see one model of this, of Jesus or His disciples. His Ministry was TOTALLY FREE. I understand most WON'T understand my heart. I just pray God puts something on our minds, as He has put it on mine. 💕

Think about it the first commandment is to love him with all your heart and all your mind and all your soul so I believe we should be on a journey to love him because when you love someone, there’s just things you won’t do so I think I believe everything that we do should be because we love himand we love him thank you ladies

Similar situation .. I was in ministry with my ex husband and now 6 years divorced . Trying to figure out what’s next. I felt God pressing me to rest . I’m always so busy doing and trying to figure things out . Not sure if that resonates with you ..❤

The first commandment is to love the Lord with all your heart, all your mind and all your soul so I believe which I am now on a journey is to love the Lord with all my heart and all my mind and all my soul and everything myself loving others comes out of that.. I believe everything we do for the Lord should be because we love him. No other reason.❤ purpose calling and gifts are three Different different categories.

Lisa's comment at the beginning of the show...related to her giving a definition or her word-distinction between "purpose" and "calling" was simply NOT NEEDED. I could care less on how to supposedly "properly classify" a word. The big picture or question that most people have is..."God, what do you want me to do with my life?" And whether they refer to this as searching for their PURPOSE or searching for their CALLING...doesn't really matter. At the end of the day, they just want an answer to that question, so they can feel fulfilled, and glorify God. So, let's keep life simple: Things or concepts don't always need to be placed in a bunch of categories, rules, classifications, use-this-word, use-that- word etc....Just ask for the Holy Spirit to show you what path to take and He will. 🤍

A beautiful thing about how the Holy Spirit works is that God is personal with us. So, while you may have felt Lisa’s distinction & definition of “purpose” & “calling” was not needed for you, it may have been just what someone else needed to hear. I’m sure there were other things that you did find helpful. 😃 For me, Lisa’s distinction was helpful & encouraging even though you & possibly others didn’t find it helpful or even necessary. We can take what is helpful & encouraging and leave whatever we didn’t find helpful.😃
