I mean, yes, there are people who don't wear shoes, but given that you can find anything from sharp stones to broken glass to animal feces on the ground, it's just safer to wear shoes. Especially in cities.

I mean hell, I wouldn't even want to touch grass around my village. For all I could know it could be a 5 foot long roach waiting for me or a Snake as tall as a jeepney that my parents always tell stories about. I mean it could also be numerous amounts of bacteria and parasite worms but well it could be worse.
