Kinda surprising there hasn't been any hololive member with non-human anatomy, but maybe it's easier if they all keep a human body plan. Imagine trying to rig a mocap model to work seamlessly with a snake or horse body.

@@octopusoup That would require _a lot_ of automated animation work to set up for 3D. The snake tail approach might actually be the easiest, "just" having to have the tail form a stable curve under the person and dragging the rest behind. Maybe some automated curl-up whenever they stand still for a while. Centaurs and large wings have so much extra mass that you need to be conscious of while acting - and while an additional set of arms would work in that regard, it would also practically need an actual AI controller so they behave naturally and don't just feel like dead props... Closest we have so far are Ina's tentacles (barely used and usually animated for a specific purpose) and a number of different tails (which are pretty basic in their animation). I'm interested to see where they go with Gigi's tail though, since it's almost as big as she is, and apparently very prehensile... Would be something fun for a toggle that's exclusive to the Live2D though. Something that's not explicitly part of the main design, like Sana's "Neighbula" mask on her kimono outfit.
