I lived there on Cedar Creek rd as a young girl . Grist Mill was the meeting place for my friends from our little Green Mountain School. We rode our horses there to meet up. we always tied our horses up to that bridge rail and go inside the mill to play, climb around, carve our names in the wood, talk about the young woman who was found in the grain silo. It was abandoned for many years. this was almost 50 years ago. Imagine to my delight when taking a random drive to take in memories and introduce my family to some of my past, there was the Old Grist Mill, so beautifully restored, a museum and mill was even functioning. I cried to see this , this old Mill being honored in such a beautiful way. I thought it would have surely been completely gone with time. Thank you for honoring such a beautiful site.

Around 1993 when the Cedar Creek Grist Mill was remodeled and the covered bridge was built, I remember a bluegrass festival being held on the bridge. A flatbed trailer was used as a stage and people would dance on the tarmac.
