yeah it is pretty much a 2 day park ....plus there are some really cool things to see right across the bay. Jacob would probably like the Carrousel museum (is that still there?)

It has zero Dark Rides. It is all roller coaster. No fun if you aren't into that. And Edison was a sadist who tortured animals to experiment with electricity. So piss on him.

I don't think he likes rollercoasters. I know if it were me, I wouldn't be spending money to get into an amusement park if I didn't plan on riding as many of the rides as possible. It's a waste of money otherwise.

Robert Matthews they are part of Cedar Fair Parks. I know that includes Cedar Point, Kings Island, and Knotts Berry Farm. I’m sure there are others also.

Cedar point is on a peninsula. Lake Erie is fresh water and the fish are fine. You were thinking of The Cuyahoga River which caught on fire but is healthier than ever. Cedar Point one of the roller coaster capitals of the world.

I appreciated that he just showed us the park. It could be health problems as well as an aversion to coasters that prevents him. Let him do what makes him happy. If you want to ride them, go there and ride them! CP is pretty awesome!

9:35 thats not a wooden roller coaster, thats a hybrid. It has steel track and a few steel supports, but keeps its wooden skeleton. It used top be a wooden coaster but CP hired a company called RMC (rocky mountain construction) to upgrade it into what it is now. Im glad you finally visited my home park😀

My family used to go every year, and we stayed after dark to ride the train, when Boneville gets all lit up and the haunting music plays. Good times!

Kennywood is one of 2 amusement parks designated as a National Historic Landmark for its history and its historic rides. It's 1 of 13 trolley parks still operating today.

You know if you are going to go to an amusement park that hosts the 2nd most roller coasters, it wouldn't hurt if you got on one or two of them. That's becoming like the rolling joke in these vids. With that said, I still love your work. Keep it up, and don't be so scared of a deathbox on tracks.

I’m going to Cedar Point on June 8th with my family, haven’t went on a little trip with them for years. I’m super excited :) We live 3 hours away in Ashtabula Ohio but its most definitely worth the drive!

Thanks for going to Cedar Point, haven't been there for 20 some years and miss it like crazy. Used to go multiple times a year with season passes as a kid but can no longer due to health, and feel tickets are too expensive just for a stroll around to see things. It's nice to see most of it hasn't changed since I've been there. Like a time warp! I loved the rollercoasters, that was my main draw, but I get that some people don't like them. Still fun to watch and remember.

Thank you Jacob😌 you brought back some great memories. I worked at Cedar Point back in 89"& 90" seasons. They changed the name of one of the locations I worked as a Barkeep, it was called "Lusty Lil's" where they did the stage show. And so glad you got the photo opp in the Gemini coaster car, I rode it everyday on my way back to work. One day actually rode it almost every run. The train was awesome to, friends of mine and I walked the tracks back one evening when the park was closed and did not realize that we tripped the burning house facade, it was the funniest thing😂 thanks again for all you do for us, and always safe travels😉

Enjoyed going to Cedarpoint with you via your video. looks like a lot of fun for families with children! I lived close to there in Pittsburgh area, but never got to go. We enjoyed Westview Park via my Father's work picnics, it was a lot of fun & very good memories. No longer there. My family also grew up going to Kennywood Park, Baldwin Day, just family outings ,picnics, & a ton of fun! We loved the potato patch fries w/ cheese, the funnel cake, lemonade, skeetball, entertainment, to name a few. It is a wonderful place to go& visit if you never been. Just go by & see for yourself. You are close. The Thunderbolt use to be roller coaster capitol of the world. The new coaster this year is The Steel Curtain. Awesome!

Glad you enjoyed your first trip to Cedar Point! Thanks for showing that there's more the park than just roller coasters! But seriously, you really missed out when you chose not to ride them. That is unless you have a legit reason not to ride roller coasters (i.e. bad heart, bad back, or bad neck). My favorite are Millennium Force, Maverick, and Gatekeeper. I'm also glad you got to both the north and south sides of Ohio! They're like night and day.

It was actually the Cuyahoga River that caught fire in the 70’s but they cleaned it up since then. Love Cedar Point, went there all the time as a kid.

Grew up going there. Sadly last visit was in the early 90s, but I want to go back so bad. Was cool to see a lot of what I remember is still there along with lots of new stuff. I remember the part of Boneville that's behind the Mine Ride (you can see it when you're going up the lift hill). Never knew there was WAY more than that scene. Sad you didn't show the horse race carousel, Cedar Downs. One of my faves. My friends and I would bet quarters when we were kids on which of our horses would "win" and I had a particular horse I had to ride every time (black one with the green & yellow saddle).

Finally you came to Sandusky! The wife, me and our friend Theresa went there back in 2016 (first time for me) and they're residents from Toledo which is under a hour away. Ironic ya post this on the week the wife and I return to Ohio and we'll be in Sandusky for Colossalcon at the nearby Kalahari resort. :)

Great video, love seeing coverage of CP, you should have checked out Cedar Downs though. It's one of only two rides of it's kind in the US. Basically a carrousel but it's a bit faster and simulates a horse race. Unless maybe you did but didn't show it in the vlog, I know they probably wouldn't have allowed you to tape on ride, but I don't mind just seeing off ride footage and general walk around the park too.

1. Lake Erie is known for some incredible fishing. Walleye and Perch are both delicious! 2. Cuyahoga River caught on fire, not Lake Erie.

Hello bro. I'm a big follower of yours. I live in Sandusky Ohio and just watched your Ceader Point follow up. So nice. I'm thankful someone has the guts to visit some of these places let alone put a vide out. Thank you so much . I'm a big fan of yours. Try Seneca Caves next time. Right outside Sandusky. There is a a Blue Hole pond. One of the deepest natural springs in America. I know of a second spring. The original is not allowed by the public. But if you would like to see it , I would be happy to show you. Supposedly the deepest spring in North America. . Take care.

6:34 that's the Millennium Force! It was revolutionary when it was built in 2000, and still remains one of the top coasters in the world. The Statue Of Liberty could fit under that incline right there! It's definitely top 3 in my favorite coasters. It's even better at night when it's all lit up!
