It doesn't matter who repeats the joke. It matters how the joke is delivered, and the delivery reveals the true talent and skill. Skillful comedians can take any joke and put their spin on it. For the most part, they all bring a uniqueness to the stage. It takes skill to be funny. Don't make a big deal about the material. Make a big deal about the delivery.

Right now, we are having a significantly important Black Culture win, with Kendrick's victory and it has become a global event, a renewal in how proud we are to identify as black...and that was delivered through hip-hop and Rap music! Nowadays they get permission and pay the fees to use others music and lyrics. It’s harder to do that with jokes bc no one is recording them unless they get on a big platform. Plus it doesn’t seem like they are getting their joke patented like with music

@@miraclewiley7126 I can’t tell you that he didn’t steal the joke for sure, but I was a comic for 10 years and I see a lot of people doing similar work. I also know that Ced has writers sometimes. I can’t diminish his body of work based on a couple of jokes. But Katt and bloggers are about to big money from clicks talking about it. I just hate some of these round tables because people are in love with this joke stealing thing and get it wrong A LOT. People still think Bernie Mac last joke was stolen on the Kings of comedy and in reality, he was telling a street joke; a joke that has been passed around the community for a long time.
