I love that i have forced the youtube algorithm into a fit of rage as it gives me videos on both sides of the political spectrum despite its best efforts to pigeonhole me like it does everyone. Politically i would say im a left leaning centrist. But due to how political shit is handled these days i would be classified as a traitor to both sides, or some other stupid thing. I know alot of the terms for all the pronouns and other things, and even know what my special snowflake terms are, but i dont care about all the labels, i just know mine since im some of the more unusual terms in sexuality and gender stuff and knowing those terms means i can shut people up who try to invalidate me by saying i cant 'know their struggle'. I love coming across videos like this, and the one you reacted to, because it points out the obvious but is comedic which helps get some people to swallow that hard pill of whats going on in the world. I wish people could just tolerate everyone and acknowledge that everyone is just a human. Regardless of skin color or geographic location of origin. I am jewish and I live in Israel and I totally disagree with the premise that Judaism is also a race. It's 100% a religion and that is all. Come to Israel and you will see people from all possible races being ok with saying they are jewish. From the whitest scandinavian all the way to a dark skinned Ethiopian with everything in between. If anything, back when the original jewish people hadn't spread all over the world, they looked like modern day Bedouins (dark skinned Arabs), if you need to set them to one specific race then it has to be that one. Semites. But then the Jews assimilated to countless cultures and today it's impossible to set them apart from the populations that surrounded them. For example, my grand parents came from Germany, as far as their race goes they have a lot more in common with local germanic populations that with Semites from the middle east. And the stereotypes of big nose, curly hair, they are also true for any white population that got their genes mixed up with arabs, like Spain, Italy, Greece, South America, etc. The 'jewish' part of their genes is not anymore special than the arabic part of other people's genes and the more it got diluted the less those characteristics are evident. There are, however, many people who can be said to be a religion and a race. The Druze for example. They don't marry outside of their people and they have their own beliefs and practices which set them apart from muslims and jews. And I am sure that there are tons of isolated communities and tribes around the world like that. The Jews, however, are not one of them.

It is actually a reality that there are many nonblack people in the USA who have never met or seen, let alone interacted with a black American on a regular basis, so TV shows of nonblacks or other minority groups, because many ethnic groups stick together even in metropolis, would be accurate based on population etc. Now for 13% of the US population to omit nonblacks from their programming would be odder because there are not enough working adults within that percentage to be self reliant & independent from daily interactions outside of their Black American culture. If all 13% lived in one or two areas, maybe, but fact is they are spread thin.

I think you are both wrong about Jews. Certainly, Judaism is religion but there is a very broad spectrum of belief and how central it is to a Jew has to be judged at an individual level. Race however is biological. Jews have been broadcasted over the entire world for two thousand years..., they can be as black as Sammy Davis Júnior or as white as Captain Kirk, race is a non sequitur. What seems to be Jewish is a group identity of religion and culture embraced from within and understood from without.
