This one of those songs that many of us need from time to time, turning a momentary heartbreak into a song of... attitude! It's fun, uplifting and catchy. This is, of course, the clean version. Clean word. Same meaning! Let's be honest. Life can be messy and we all have a shadow. I like how in Forget You the raw rage of the song is cleaned up... just enough for TV ;)

You guys are totally not wrong. I never listened to the explicit version but I do know it drops a ton of “F-bombs” (16 to be exact, count every “forget” in this one or 17 if you include the one in the title) and it overall makes the song feel more toxic than a love song. I get that the overall theme is heart-break but there’s really better things to say other than that.

I remembered this song/video when I thought about the kid who played the "Young CeeLo Green." I went to school with that kid, his name was Jaden, we were in like 5th grade. I loved this song when I was younger. I mean, I was obsessed with it. I remember watching him perform this song at the Grammy’s, dressed as a peacock with puppets across the stage. I was having behavioral problems at the time, and the case worker knew I loved this song. Little did I know, she would buy me the Lady Killer album (censored, of course. I was 12). Ever since then, Cee lo Green has been a part of my life. If I ever get to a bad place, I throw the Lady Killer on shuffle, and live life to the fullest.
