I personally always make it a point to layer my perfumes with clone oils or oils with similar DNA. It amps up the longtivity sometimes up to more than twice and gives the perfume a very unique depth. No amount of overspraying compares to the kind of richness that layering with oils adds. Very informative video Cee. I hope people give perfume oils a go after watching this one.

I changed my day bed ensemble and smeared a perfume oil over the pillow cases and the quilt and I’m smelling it at least 2 days in. I didn’t care for the oil that much but it makes the whole room smell great and no obvious oil on any of the items. I also had just washed them and put oil on before I put them in the dryer. I think that sealed the scent in. It worked great!

I only have one oil. They are fab for lasting because they are strong, you are right, but the projection can be lacking for me. I have a rollerball one. There are some good tips here, maybe I can pop the rollerball off to do some of these.

Yes, or you could use the rollerball on your hair. Oils are safe on human hair.

@@peacheskong2245 Yes it does apply to those too. Pets tend to lick off whatever is applied to their coat and some human skin lotions contain chemicals that shouldn't be swallowed. Ingestion of moisturizers may cause drooling, vomiting, and diarrhea in pets.

I have a concern about putting oil on clothes or sheets/pillowcases. Doesn’t it leave oil mark stains on them? Love to do it, just a bit nervous.

I put some on a cotton ball and put that in my purse I add some to a small spray bottle and add either vodka or perfumers alcohol. Just so I can spray. I put some in with my hair product and put it on the underside of my hair. I put a few drops in a wash cloth and put it under the front seat of my car.

Apologies for commenting twice. But I have a question regarding lattafa khamrah. Do you still enjoy it? Is it worth chasing down? I'm asking Because in my country, it is difficult to find and the prices are therefore jacked up like crazy. Your opinion matters to me, so, would you say it's a unique enough scent to warrant paying extra or should I wait/pass?

I’d say wait it out until the hype dies down. It’s an ok fragrance and more wearable than most Lattafas. I don’t reach for mine that much because it’s a bit too much on the cinnamon. Wait a little because nothing warrants paying too much for Lattafas. Remember Lattafa releases perfumes all the time so very soon it will be forgotten and in the back burner just like Raghba and you will be able to get it dirt cheap.

I only put them directly on black, velvet or woolen material…otherwise l apply directly on skin.
