The hardest part about being an international student is that you're far away from home during Chinese New Year, all those traditions, family gatherings, end up being video calls and text messages. However, I am glad that Western University is hosting a Lunar New Year Gala for everyone (FOR FREE!!!) and I am glad I managed to get a spot for dinner. Here's a short video about how it went!
